Akkedi Warrior Defeats Warmblood Interlopers

The Akkedi are a species of bipedal lizards that emerged long before the dawn of men and have created a continent spanning empire more advanced than any other race. They lived across the world isolated from most of the younger species until the first ships managed to reach the new world and word of its infinite riches and cities of gold reached the rest of the world.
Akkedi are territorial and fierce in the defense of their ancient homeland, a lesson the expeditions sent into their land learn too late and most never return from those lands devoured by the giant reptiles, the Akkedi themselves, or the land itself.
