Sorry I've been more absent than usual lately

Things have been hectic in the background here, and - unfortunately for my writer brain - I find the news coming up from the US enormously, enormously stressful, and that eats up space in the creative brain, so I've had to avoid on-line things (not that this has been hugely successful). Changes in my own life have also been stressful - nothing terrible, I'm not ill, my health is fine! - so I've been struggling to adjust. My long suffering husband has been ordered back to the office full-time as of this week, and we're adjusting after two years of a solid working-from-home paradigm was fully established.

For audiobook readers (listeners?), Riven Shield is now available.

The last book, Sun Sword, is on Eva's schedule for July of this year (at the moment, the schedule is decided by the cost, i.e. when I can afford to pay for the work), but I'm uncertain about how to offer that one. At the moment, I've been pricing at 1.00 per finished reading hour, in part because narrator costs are based on finished hours. So Sea of Sorrows was 33 hours; Riven Shield was 29.5. If Sun Sword is less than 50 hours, I'll release it as a single book; if, as I suspect it will be, 60 hours, I'll probably break it in two.

I would really like to get it out there regardless; I'd like the series to be complete and available in audiobook for those who prefer or enjoy that format.

After which, audio will be done as each West novel for which the Patreon was created is finished.

My current goal - even if I am absent - is to finish Hunter's Redoubt some time in October. I'm on track for that, and should be able to finish it sooner, but I've been revising and banging my head against the nearest wall so things are a bit slow-going T_T.
