slow and steady, for the most-part
still going with the whole chest thing. it's not really difficult or anything, but doing the whole thing six times over is a real drag

and it might sound dumb, but knowing it's gonna be this much pain to add new costumes is actually a pretty helpful lesson.
with the female outfit, theres a gazillion outfits that you can mix and match for every limb and make something unique .. but that's simply not gonna happen on the boy's side. so I was thinking about a more traditional outfit system. where instead of making a shirt by picking out a chest, arms, hands.. etc. I'll just go the boring way and link everything together under a seNsibLe "shirt" layer.

now yes, you're right, that'd be a big step backwards.. but there's more, dontcha worry..

with each bit of costume, I was thinking about how to build a (mostly) automatic colour variant system to shake things up a lil bit. and seeing as it's the same framework, if that works out, I can bring it over to the female side and open up even more outfit possibilities down the line. wooh

anyways, that's enough with the dressup pipedreams for now.
I'll just get back to work on gettin' everything working ~ seeya next time
