v.0.12 News

Hi Guys,

Just to let you all know here if you're not in my Discord, I'm still up and working on v.0.12, there's quite a few problems I've encountered and I've had to change some bits. I set the release date to be thematic with Halloween but in all honesty it probably needed an extra week or so and I set the release date far, far too early (for those of you that don't know, I release the update almost the second I finish work on it, so release dates are targets I want to do it by, and then cram and work day and night to meet, but this time I've definitely set it too early).

There will be a full version out within the next 24 hours though, containing the majority of the renders (over 1000), full adult scenes with Vanessa, Ellie and Steph and in a complete playable state, just bear with me whilst I finish some things off.

The additional "fluff" as some people might consider it, like the computer, new UI, missions will be added in the next couple of days as I finalise and bug fix them.

Thanks for all the support, sorry about this, and I'm going to keep working through the night finishing it off!

A few comments. Your game is good, it's becoming an actual game (as opposed to some desultory gaming elements between hot scenes that other games tend to have) and is quite complex from a development POV because of the mutually exclusive paths. Your development cycle is not too long in general, and in fact it's rather short for a quality product. So there's no reason to try and be overoptimistic with your deadlines. Furthermore, once you miss one, there's no point in trying to release the renders with the old UI and then the new version with all the features just to save 2 days. In fact, if you couldn't make the launch yesterday you could have postponed it for a full week. That should give you enough time to finish everything with no crazy pressure, and a safety margin for any unforseen events. And if it was done say in 5 days, you could always have released it a couple of days early. No one would have complained :) Instead, you're pushing yourself with these tight deadlines, increasing stress and the likelihood of mistakes. Unless you're a person that needs to be up against a deadline to start working, I think you could really afford to relax your development/release schedule. A quality product takes time to make.
