This week has been all about cleanup, in preparation for cramming in all the content from last week's simbro rip.
Picture is a hidden, un-rendered designer layout I used for symbols in bhgh, where I dont need to dig through a million (however-many things there are there) unique locations and can scrub through them all at once and see what's missing. (spoiler, it was a whole bunch.)
So, I've been replacing all the missing/corrupted skins and culling rogue bits of code. I've lopped off a big chunk of filsize, even after re-drawing hundreds of items (mostly bare flesh parts, maybe because of how messy my previous setup was, or maybe just luck) I've cut the word-count of my code in half and found ways around using most of the lag-intensive "on-frame" calculations that I used to abuse. (and that's a huge reason why everything had been so rough in the past. I mean, I dont even know how a tiny flash game can even chew up a few gigs of ram, anyway..)
anyway, back onto those new goodies, last week's rip demo is now open to everyone. and I'm still looking for info on who drew what, for the credits. so if anyone's got any info, be sure to let me know in the comments, mailbox or on discord.
