ANOES 5 - The Dream Child Watch-a-long | Early Release!

Hi Survivors! As long as you are a Series Survivor (or higher tier) you'll have access to our watch alongs :). We can't promise we'll have them available for every video but we'll see how it goes. Thank you for surviving with us! :)

This is an "early release" meaning that it is releasing here before our show version on YouTube is released :).

Who knew that abomination baby Freddy was even grosser than adult Freddy? LOL! We loved the premise in this one!

Yay! We just take each one for what they mean to us as we watch it vs worrying about whatever the reputation is or was (especially since we don't know what we will be watching before hand). :)

I have a soft spot for "The Dream Child." I can remember watching this one late at night during high school. I guess seeing the movie during my formative years really burned that memory in for me. I don't think "The Dream Child" deserves any of the hate that it gets from Nightmare fans. I enjoy the cool set pieces, the wacky effects, and the overall campy feel to it. Not to mention, it continues Alice's story arc! You can say that too often for contemporaries of the Nightmare series.

That Franchise Retrospective sounds really cool!

I really did too. I love that this one isn't just about Freddy wanting personal revenge like he always wants, in this one he was just experimenting with a different agenda & motive

I've watched a Franchise Retrospective for A Nightmare on Elm Street and it's certainly the more terrifying compared to Halloween and Friday the 13th. The man who made that video felt like this one had some over the top kills but I thought they fit perfectly with how Freddy does things

Wade Wallenstein

We definitely really liked the angle this one took for the storyline!

This Nightmare Film In Particular Is The Only One My Mother Had On VHS So I Grew Up Heavily With This Nightmare On Elm Street Movie As A Child & Has Always Been In My Top 5 Or 6 List Of Top Favorite Nightmare Movies. This Film Is More Underrated Than Nightmare 4 Honestly For Most Of The Horror Fans Myself Included Also Thinks This.
