2024-08-27 11:21:58 +0000 UTChe really doesn't have a rightful dragon because for all the acknowledgement as a grandson he doesn't have the targ name. if a targ bastard start to bond with dragon then it will set unpredictable consequence and for all daemon knows, king jae will make a example out of him... it sets a precedent.. we know that only blood is needed to claim dragons. 7 kingdoms believes only targ can bond with them at this point of time.... king jae is known to be very vigilant regarding dragons keeping it out of even his daughters hands who didn't have a sure targ husband, known to threaten bravos itself if a dragon ever flied in essos again... so we can't actually blame daemon is cautious... let me be clear, if only balerion was available or every other big dragons will be claimed, he will definitly claim balarion and hell with the consequences... now there is no need, so going in lazy mode...

So chances are pretty high, dragons feel strong and weak, it's up to him, how he show himself About Robert, he was called Usurper by Targaryen's loyalist and savior by others. And he was kinslayer because Rhaegar was his second cousin 🙄 Getting his rightful dragon and name aren't enough reason to kill Daemon. It's only challenge to anyone who oppose his rights for Throne, nothing more.

2024-08-25 14:58:55 +0000 UTCif the kin is trying to usurp or traitor, or madman kinslaying is not such a crime in 7 kingdoms and they eagerly forget the relationship... robert was never accused as kinslayer by anyone,,,, daemon is also afraid of balerion as he don't know if he could actually bond with him... i mean balerion was able to see him when he was in a vision and was moments away from killing him.... if daemon was in a time limit he will definitely would have done as you suggested, but he has the time , so he is being cautious while his legend is slowly built among the public... i mean in winterfell almost every small folk belives him to be godly gifted child and blessings......... Well he has used the sharing and evolving ability to max... he has been improving his own body to max....
