Life update, Tailbound, etc.

I haven't really written here in a while- nor have I really had time to honestly, but I figured I'd write about what's been going on and my current plans.

Back at the beginning of March, my boyfriend's dad passed away and we inherited some of his land to live on. It took us until May to really get set up, but now we're living here (more or less) comfortably, albeit with far worse internet speeds. Aside from how busy we've been with that, I also had to go back to Detroit for a while to visit family, so we just got back from doing that. (Hence why I'm writing this)

If you recall my most recent post about Tailbound, I explained that I would be relying on Tailbound's income to save up for a new place since we were on track to being evicted. Of course, this isn't much of an issue anymore- and I'd be lying if I said that isn't a major blow to morale.

I still generally want to finish Tailbound, but I know it's going to be straining mentally and emotionally unless I can somehow get the hang of working on it full time with little to no support. (Given, no one's ever shown much interest in any of my projects) Right now I just plan on working on the game as much as I can, hopefully every day, until it's just done. I'll more than likely have to open commissions more regularly since the game gets little to no financial support from itch.io donations, so it's going to be pretty touch and go until completion.

Aside from that, I've mostly quit using Twitter and Discord, partly because of the internet situation, and partially because I'm just too busy for them now. I still try checking my server when I have free time, but at this point most of my free time is spent either brainstorming comic ideas or reading books/comics.

Hopefully there aren't too many more interruptions so I can really focus on getting Tailbound done sometime this year-- hopefully before or during August.
