There is an interview of Mac, where he talks about this track (7 min into the video) and says that this is the track he uses to fall asleep to. Just wanted to share my two cents. Idk about everything being recorded in a week but this was evidently during his Faces era. Almost every track has Larry Fisherman producer credits, Mac’s producer pseudonym

2025-01-17 23:19:39 +0000 UTCIt’s a lot like faces to me. Definitely it’s sister album. These albums feel more like musical sculptures in terms of how it’s truly a work of instrumental art. I don’t get the head bobbin going as much as a GOODAM type album. But damn, I appreciate this man’s brain & soul. He sends a message that is meant to be heard but hard to explain. 6.5-7.5/10 for me. I think it’ll be a grower, Faces has been over the decade+
