Ok then, let's get some suggestions...

The response to the 'classic records' poll was overwhelmingly positive, so let's get some suggestions in the comments.

Any genre, any era.

I will lead with some ideas too:

I've never listened to a full Prince album. I don't think I've listened to MJ's albums AS albums.

I only really know Radiohead's singles.

I've never listened to a Beatles album although I have played Rock Band Beatles and obviously know many songs.

I have a weird personal issue/history with Pink Floyd that I think it's time to move on from.

That being said: go right ahead and get commenting!

You got to listen to some radiohead! My fave is Ok Computer and I honestly think it's the one that's the easiest to love. In that it is obviously a masterpiece on first listen through. The entire discography is amazing obviously, but if you only listen to one, listen to that one for sure.

Also, would love if you did a video as a guide to Elliot Smith!!! Maybe some history on him, where to start in his discography, your personal faves of his, etc. I’ve been wanting to dive deeper into his music but idk where to start

Definitely a classic in my book!

Agreed but I'd say both parts - FS/LS has some classics on it but 20/20 as a whole is the one that got the most spins from me/had me recommending it to non-pop listeners.

Sam B

it’s not classic yet but I think it will be for the UK/USA rap cross over, CONGLOMERATE by Lancey Foux Fimi Guerrero and Len. They’re all from the UK but make more Americanized music, it’s really good

Lupe fiasco revenge of the nerds PT II- I really think you will enjoy “mixtape Lupe” it’s less cyphers and more either J Cole style bars on steroids or playing around with English language and concepts that are only 1-2 levels deep. Shorter suggestion: think you would love the suite of coast contra freestyles
