I think some artists reach a level of maturity that makes them deviate from the usual album style, and i like that 😝 And thank you for your videos

Always such a pleasure to join you in your Lana reactions. Thank you ☺️ I’ve been a Lana fan since I heard Pawn shop blues on YouTube maybe in 2009? & for me, this album is magnificent! The depths of it. The intensity. The intelligence. The skill. The vulnerability. The use of humour. The collaborations feeling like welcomed support for the journey. I was wondering if, in part, the intensity of the unsettled vibe we felt was because of being from England. Sometimes when I hear the sound of a pastor preaching now it makes me thing of Harry & Megan’s wedding (& the very British reactions) We’re just not used to that level or style of passion 😂 I mean I’m sure it’s intentional because everything Lana does seems to be. Beautifully so. But that’s just a little thought that crossed my mind. I really loved the feel of the Judah smith interlude. I loved the punctuation of the end. Also Lanas laugh when he says “Rhino designer”). I’ve listened to the album in full & in part numerous times now, & the appreciation just keeps growing & unfolding. I could write pages about every tiny thing that I’ve heard & taken to heart. Lyrically, melodically, musically, technically & everything in between. The last five songs feeling like bonus tracks made me think of like when you do a meditation & the chimes come in to bring you out if it because you can’t stay there. You have to get up & go about your day or get some sleep. It can be a bit jarring because you were transported somewhere else. Or like if you have a deep conversation with a friend or loved one. You can’t stay there. You gently bring it round, back to a place you can both get up from. She can’t leave herself there in that depth of feeling. The deepest, darkest extents of the ocean are there, but the abundance of life doesn’t happen there. It’s depths aren’t conducive to every day life living. I don’t pretend to have a clue about anything but that’s what it felt like for me. Thanks again! (So thrilled that she followed you too! I knew she’d connect with the way you listen. …Ok, maybe I do know some things 😉)

casual lana fan here. loved the album. last few tracks were amazing if only because they feel like they’ll have a lot of replay-ability. i also feel like she took the somber, melancholy feel from the majority of the beginning and dragged you into a hypnotic, darker place, at least sonically, towards the end, so it doesn’t really ruin my experience in terms of listening through the album. venice bitch sounded amazing remixed like that and that’s one of my favorite songs of hers as well so i won’t complain

I love this album, definitely top 3 for me. I will say, I saw something online that this album seems like it’s a series of EPs in terms of theming, but when put together is a story. The Grants, title track and sweet are all one “ep” about mortality and memory. A&W, Judah, Candy Necklace and Jon Bastiste Int are “ep #2” that delve a little more into okay we are getting a small trauma in A&W and it’s creating insanity. Kintsugi and Fingertips are “ep #3” that is essentially her therapy and hashing everything out there. Paris, Grandfather, Let the Light In and Margaret are “ep 4” and are her healing. Fishtail, Peppers, TTxVB are “ep 5” and its her almost healed up and she’s able to get back to “normal life” where she isn’t in pain anymore. I have a lot of similar traumas she sings about in this album and to me, this idea of the album as an overarching healing journey with mini snippets of each part of her journey, make this an incredible album as a piece of art. Like this can only be understood in the exact order she put them in. It’s definitely not just music made but more art? I love when albums do this, as I tend to listen to full albums more than playlists, but I understand why this album didn’t hit people in the way they wanted, and I think she knew that while creating it. “I used to think my preaching was mostly about You…. I've discovered my preaching is mostly about me”

Love it. As a percussion and dark song lover, I LOVE the end of the album. And it's rare to see an artist that make a remix of their own song on an album, so what a way to finish. Maybe an opening to whats comme next, a merge of her hiphop type beats and her melancoly orchestral type of song. When ther'es light, there's darkness, Lana Del Rey, a poet of balance.
