I think we can allow one encore after an album that had like 11 10/10 songs and 2 9/10s and 2 8/10s. But I’m not sure SSLP, MMLP, and EmShow combined can allow one encore, one relapse, one recovery, one MMLP2, one Revival, one Kamikaze, and one M2BMB lmao. I really don’t like the last two thirds of his career 😂. Recovery and encore are solid enough. Relapse is something, I’m almost sure of it.

He had an amazing 3 album run with the slim shady lp, the Marshall Mathers lp and the Eminem show and encore was just… something else. It’s important to remember he was at the height of his drug addiction when he was recording that album and some songs did get leaked so he had to redo a few tracks. Still has classics on there like mockingbird and toy soldiers and some of my personal favourite tracks like ass like that which I know, aren’t objectively good but yeah. Also, superman has had a bit of a resurgence on tiktok which is why it has gained so many more streams in the last year alone, I love that song so much, from the beat to the chorus it’s just so great. It’s weird, the song is so misogynistic but the way the women on the set of the music video talk about his treatment towards them it’s great to hear, he made sure they felt safe/they all got paid before Christmas despite them being told it wouldn’t be until after. He made his team go to the bank and get cash out for them because the cheques wouldn’t clear until after the holiday season. Eminem knows more than anyone what it’s like to have no money during the holidays. Anyway, long comment over lol. Really enjoyed the reaction and this album is for sure a 10/10. And I KNOW he still has this shit in him, even though I do think his new stuff gets overly hated on.

2022-10-06 01:44:17 +0000 UTCThere is actually a reason for Encore being as bad as it is. 4 songs got leaked that were supposed to be on the album so he had to hurry up and make 4 new songs and he was tired and drugged up and wrote them in a couple days. The album would’ve been so much better if that had not happened. The bonus tracks on encore are the songs that were supposed to be on there but got leaked.
