Eminem - THE EMINEM SHOW - UNCUT REACTION pt1 (Patreon Exclusive)

How dare this man make the YouTube version only 28 minutes on my fav em album, forcing me to pay 5$ to come on here. Touché, Denton, touché. Best album by Eminem, but not by much. Just about every single song is a 10/10 on any one of bars/cultural significance/personal significance/straight-up-badassery. Quite a few are 10/10 on all of those, my favs being White America, Cleaning out closet, Soldier, Saying Goodbye Hollywood, Sing For Moment, Till I Collapse, when the music stops

Far better, IMO.

None

I'm having a problem with the play back, if I close videos on Dropbox, I have. To replay from the beginning. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

Elijah Parsons

Not as good as SSLP or MMLP tho imo

Great reaction Jon! Joined your patreon today. Looking forward to the rest of Eminem SZN. Especially his album Relapse

I really appreciate your reactions. I do disagree with your overall Eminem take. If you look at the career of any Hip Hop artist that lasts 20+ years (there's not many), the fun is finding their evolution. Take Jay Z. His evolution from drug dealer, to businessman, to mogul is amazing. The skill never left. He just rapped about different things. Some people are stuck on the "90's Jay Z". They just miss out on a lot of great music. Em started out trying to prove himself, to everyone. His mother, black people, hip hop, everyone. The Boulder on his shoulder has always been huge. His evolution is from proving to becoming. He never rapped about anything other than the art of rapping, his personal problems or addressing beef. Now, per his last interview, he really only does it to figure out how to rhyme better than anyone, including himself, ever has. I appreciate his new stuff. Just like Jay Z. Andre. Busta. All the 40/50 plus rappers keep blowing my mind. Idk. I just love hip hop.

The sheer amount of emotion on this record is absolutely unbelievable. I really do think it's what makes this his best record overall. He's got great records that came before this album and some really solid ones that came after, but nothing comes close to this album in my eyes.

White America isn't technically an intro, but it's one of the best ways to start an album that I've ever heard. The second verse of Square Dance is one of my favorite verses ever. Soldier used to be my favorite eminem song, and it's still incredible. I think it says a lot about how good this album is that Say Goodbye Hollywood is probably one of the worst songs on it. My only skip is Drips, never liked that song lol

I feel like the Eminem Show is his best full body of work. Most people will rate the Slim Shady LP and Marshall Mathers LP above this one but I don't agree. This was his apex of lyrics, performance, and overall hits.

Let's goo! Been waiting for this one
