(in this season they made quite a few mistakes, so I'll do my best to correct them) Crunchyroll version (paraphrased): "Seeing the flies made you hate me on a visceral level." real meaning: "Since those people are now flies, you can't help but be disgusted by them." Archbishop of Lust wants everyone to love her, so she is jealous when other people have loving relationships without her. She believes that these relationships are fake since people only love based on appearances ("see if you can love her when she turns into a fly"). So she transforms other people into ugly creatures, thinking that others would not love them anymore, and they will only look at her. Eventually the only beautiful one left will be her, so she will have all the love in the world. It's a bit hard to even phrase it, since the way of thinking is so twisted xD Another one from previous episode is when she was talking over the intercom, Crunchyroll subtitle was something like "I'm going to slice these meat scraps into even tinier meat scraps." More correct would be "turn" rather than "slice", and now we know she was turning the hostages into flies at that moment. The deafening noise afterwards was from the wings of the flies.
