2025-08-31 17:12:50 +0000 UTCThis is not mentioned in the anime, but Puck's contract with Emilia included a lot of other rules besides sealing Emilia's memories. It also dictated how she should do her hair in the morning and commune with lesser spirits every day. It also forbade her from looking at her reflection, which is why at the end of the 2nd trial she says "I look less like Mother Fortuna than I thought." Emilia didn't know what her own face looked like, and after losing the contract with Puck this is the first time she gathered the courage to look.

2025-08-06 20:19:38 +0000 UTCHaven't finished the video yet but what Echidna had asked of Beatrice was to stay in the library until "That Person" shows up. When Subaru is confronting Echidna earlier in the season Echidna tells him that she has no clue who "That Person" is, it's simply something she had said to find out WHO Beatrice decides "That Person" is. When Subaru asks how she feels about the fact that Beatrice has misunderstood it/thought that there is a definitive person that will show up and has been waiting so many years for "That Person", Echidna simply says that she thinks it's wonderful.. Since she's the Witch of Greed, to her it was all nothing more than a small experiment that enveloped Beatrice's entire life. I've only watched the anime so I don't know if her answer is the whole truth but it's at least the context for why Beatrice is there as of now. (Please no novel spoilers in replies!)
