She seemed to have developed a colder mindset after Carol encouraged her to be strong. Carol did it to protect her, but she is starting to become disturbing. And there is the dilemma; do you teach the kids to be hard and risk them developing bloodlust, or do you let them be tender and risk them becoming liabilities in this world? Rick faced this with Carl...and Lori's parting words to her son was to not let the apocalyptic hell snatch away his humanity. It should be interesting to see how Lizzie turns out in the end.
