Personally, I have a bit of an issue with this. In the vanilla version, the signature side locks of the hime cut can grow indefinitely, which kind of feels like a disrespect to a true weeb like me.
이게 개인적으로 좀 불만인게 바닐라 버전에선 히메컷의 저 트레이드 마크인 귀밑머리가 무제한으로 길어지는 구조임.
So, for medium length and longer, I reworked it like this.
이게 씹덕인 나한텐 다소 모독적이라고 느껴져서 중간길이 이상부턴 이런식으로 만들어봤음.
It might not exactly be a "princess cut", but hey—it’s Japanese-inspired, so close enough.
이게 공주머리는 아니었던거같긴 한데 여튼 일본풍이니까...
Since this uses a color filter over the base graphics, it's not ideal to draw in actual accessories into the hairstyle, but going with white like this surprisingly works. It still displays nicely in white even if the hair color is changed.
이게 기본 그래픽에 색 필터를 씌우는 개념이라 머리모양 자체에 악세사리 묘사를 하는건 좀 그런데 이렇게 하얀색으로 해버리면 나름 ㄱㅊ은듯요. 머리색을 바꿔도 흰색으로 잘 출력됨
(ps. Black doesn’t render too well, though...)
(+추가 검은색은 잘 안 먹힘...)
Might be fun to adapt this into a streak/bridge style, too.
이걸 응용해서 브릿지를 넣는 것도 괜찮을듯
I may need to revisit the scene kid hairstyle I worked on earlier…
이전에 만들어놨던 씬 키드 머리를 손봐야할지도 모르겠음...

Ah... Making hair that looks natural, tousled, or loose using pixel art is just exhausting.

One thing I’ve learned along the way: the “masculine-feeling” hairstyles from vanilla DOL are often extremely convoluted. So it’s better to ditch accuracy and just go with my own take.
그동안 배운 게 하나 있는데, 바로 돌 바닐라의 '남성스러운 느낌'인 머리 그래픽들은 대부분 상당히 난해하기 때문에 걍 고증하지 말고 내맘대로 만드는 편이 낫다는 것임
