Here are our some of our takeaways for each song:
“Running Wild” - An anthem! This is destined to be one of those songs ARMY will sing in unison during the live performances. Also, the MV? Chef’s kiss.
“I'll Be There” - This song feels like it’s already ingrained in our DNA. It’s the kind of track that instantly makes us feel happy and at home.
“Another Level” - WOAH. Where did this sound come from?! It’s giving us major video game/anime soundtrack vibes!!
“Falling” - A masterpiece with a “Rock & Blues” feel. Jin took us on a journey with this one.
“Heart on the Window (feat. Wendy)” - Ummmm…one of the most harmonious and beautifully paired vocal collaborations we’ve heard in a long time. Wendy and Jin are a match made in music heaven.
“I Will Come to You” - By the time we got to this song, our jaws and hearts were on the floor. Pure emotional power 😭💜

After he was discharged he wrote lyrics based on those keywords. It is so beautiful and I haven't even looked at the full lyrics yet. I just watched it live. My heart is healed

Wendy makes me want to listen to Red Velvet 🥰

I cried more with this album than with with the previous 8 together. "Another Level" and "I will come to you" are my absolute favourites. Let alone that the latter is a letter for ARMY he wrote using words he jotted down in the military while missing us.

Heart On a Window is my favorite and I knew the second I heard it I was gonna love it. Watching Jin and Wendy perform it live this weekend on his Weverse showcase was spectacular. They have such a beautiful vocal chemistry. I Will Come to You made me tear up the first time I heard it. It actually reminds me of Eric Caption's Tears In Heaven and that song breaks me. It was played at my grandmother and then mother's funeral in their memoriam. Guys, Jin outdid himself and he truly made us proud!! 💜🫶🏽💜🫶🏽

I love every song for different moments of my day. Jin did an amazing job & wait to you hear him live. Since I found BTS because of Jimmy Fallon, I so excited for Jin to on his show 💜

I'm just so happy coz I can see from Jin that he is incredibly happy and excited to share this album to ARMY 🥹🤧💜 I am Jordan - I did not expect I'm gonna like Heart on the Window, but it's probably my top FAVE too! You are soooo on point on Jin and Wendy's voices together. They compliment each other perfectly, they sound sooooooo good!!! I don't know a lot about Red Velvet, but Wendy is the main vocalist of the group and I saw how happy her fans were bcos of this collab. 💜 Howeverrrr... Falling is tugging my shirt right here guysss!! I'm getting super crazy on Falling!!! 🤯🥴 So I am so torn on which one is my fave! I honestly love all of the songs so it's really hard to pick one. I Will Come To You made me tear up, seriously! It's like that moment when you can already say, Oh my gosh, I'm so happy bcos I am now with Jin 🥹🤧 But if I were to pick my TOP 3 - they will be Falling, Heart on the Window and I'll Be There 💜 Ok Guys, guys-- hear me outtt!! Y'all!!! I'm so thinking the same with Another Level! I was thinking of Solo Leveling the whole time! And Jin actually said that he was thinking of like playing a game when he was working on Another Level! Like that mindset that he needs to go on and work harder so he could push thru and be on another level. Seriously, if Solo Leveling isn't getting this as a sound track, I will snatch Igris from Jinwoo and bring them all down!! 😜 Lol on a serious note, I'm really really happy with how this album was put together. 2024-11-17 10:30:14 +0000 UTCYou're absolutely right about "Another Level", he actually explained during his showcase that this song was inspired by his love for "Gaming" hence the theme of coming back up and fighting on until you reach the next level. Also, Jin is known to be the king of BTS' japanese songs...there's just this quality and tone to his voice that matches well with the japanese language. That's why you get the vibe of an anime soundtrack from him even though he's singing in Korean. If you noticed, most of the Anime soundtracks are in the genre of rock, alternative rock, punk rock, or soft rock....and we know Jin really do shine in this genre. AL is my second fave from his album :)

Im so glad I am not the only one or going crazy 🥹 I also thought of Kdrama OST for that one LOL! Jin’s voice is just magic (with fireworks, sprinkles, sparkles and hearts) in every song. It made me tear up, and I dont even know the lyrics. And his vocals were sooo raw 🥹. Falling! The beat, the triple threat, the build ups and break downs were sooooo fun! Another level made me wanna rock out. Heart on the Window.... Jin.. and Wendy's voice together... held my FULL attention and heart. And you already know how I feel about the other two. This album is an entire letter 😉 that Jin wrote to us and I can not imagine leaving out even part of it. He is so amazing and I love him so very much! P.S. I hope you guys have/will get to see 1 or both of his special lives - "Jin 'Happy' Special Stage". Day 1 was beautiful 😍 and Jin (and crew) did a wonderful job of planning these special events. P.P.S There is - Jin Comeback Live : What is 'Happy' - that gives his thoughts and small antidotes for the album. It's just over an hour long.

But I’ve always gravitated towards their tender, comforting songs because when they sing these types of songs, it feels so heart- and soul-settling, if that makes sense. “I will come to you” is that song to me, and he sang it so beautifully.

I kept thinking, this is a real life video game and it is sooooooo Jin....especially when he was driving trying to dodge meteors hitting the road all around him while still keeping his cool. I Will Come to You hit me hard this time.....I've listened to it 6 or 7 times so far, but those last two lines hit even harder this time. I love that track and Heart on the Window.

That song is not so much what I wanted to hear, but what I NEEDED to hear at this moment. 🥺🥺With everything I've been through here lately, I feel this song is a continuation of his song "Tonight" just from the prospective of who you lost. The I miss you just as much, but hold me in your heart, and when you need me, I'll be there I'll come to you. This song made me cry😭😭, but made my heart so full💜💜💜

2024-11-16 21:47:31 +0000 UTCHonestly, Jin has said that Running Wild is a song for Army, and it really makes the think of it in that context. “Don’t you let our love go cold. We can light it up once more”. Army and BTS have enjoyed so much love between each other and it almost feels like he’s saying “I know we’ve left for a bit, but don’t forget about us. Now that I’m back, we can reignite that love. Just follow me and let’s run wild together. Until the ends of the Earth.” Because once the rest of the members get back, there will be nothing standing in BTS’s way to move forward, and Jin, and now Hobi, being back is just the start. I love screaming this song out in the car. Incidentally, it wasn’t “it’s okay” that you were hearing in the last song, but 약속해 (yahk-sohk-hae), which means “I promise”, So what he’s saying is “I promise I will come to you”. That song made me cry. I’m proud that I was able to understand about half of the lyrics in that one just on my first listen. As soon as it got to the first 너에게 갈게 (neo-eh-geh gahl-geh) “I will come to you”, I lost it. Fun fact about the titles of tracks 4 and 6. You’ll notice on the track list they released that those two song names were in Korean, but on streaming sites they have English names. The English names they used are NOT actually translations of the Korean titles, but instead other lyrics in the song (the few English lyrics there are in those). For me, personally, I actually prefer referring to them as either their Korean titles, or the translation of the Korean Titles, because I feel like they convey a deeper summary of the songs: Track 4 is listed as “Falling”, but it’s Korean title is 네게 닿을 때까지 (neh-geh dah-eul ddeh-ggah-jee), which translates to “Until (the time) I reach you”. It just feels deeper than the image of just “falling”. Like there’s a purpose or goal being conveyed. That I will continue on until the time when I finally reach you. It has more meaning to me. Track 6 is listed as “I Will Come To You”. That line is in the lyrics both in Korean and English. But it’s Korean Title is 그리움에 (keu-ree-oom-eh), which translates to “Longing/In longing”. The sentiment of “I will come to you” is beautiful, but I think that “longing” just encompasses the origins of the song much better. Jin wrote this song in the military when he was missing Army and it stemmed from a deep sense of “Longing”. Longing to be out and get back to us and to his music and to BTS. So, I like “Longing” better as the title. I’m not sure I have a favorite. It’s so hard to pick as they’re all so insanely good. 그리움에 really hits me a lot of the time, but I think after seeing Jin’s performance this morning, I think “Another Level” just bias wrecked me. HOLY. FREAKING. COW. I have no words for that performace. I hope you guys watch his appearance on “Salon Drip”. The host really matches his energy and it’s a really, really great interview. She was a host on another show that BTS went on in 2016, after the Wings album came out and also was a guest host on the "Let's BTS" interview show in 2020? 2021? Anyways, they're all amazing shows to check out. And Jin said he has more shows coming out. I know of at least 3 more that are coming up. He's not stopping with the content, and I LOVE IT!

He said that "I Will Come To You" was written (lyrics) by him from the notes he wrote in his journal about his feelings about Army and his fellow members of BTS. He also said it was the first song he recorded for the album! You have got to watch his special live concert from last night. 2024-11-16 20:40:40 +0000 UTCit´s funny to see what each reactors favorite track is. mine is another level and heart on the window i can´t choose. other have running wild or i will come to you. no one so far has picked falling as their favorite not yet anyway. but overall very split opinions. for jimins muse almost everyone was team Who or team Be mine. none of the other songs. for Rm´s album it was nuts groin and the japanese word song i can´t spell lol. this album by jin has very split opinions i can never guess what people will pick. also Jin´s own favorite track is I´ll be there.

My fav songs are I WILL COME TO YOU (pure voice only with piano 🫠🫠🫠) and Falling (I like the One Ok Rock influence with the guitar riff at the end). Btw Take That was not an english Rock band, but a veeeery famous Boy Band with mega hits. So Gary Barlow know for whom he wrote and produce this song. 😊 I hope you will react also to one the live stages. Borahae J&J! 💜
