[Run JIN] EP. 10 REACTION!! | “Freeze! Polliceping” 🚨

Comments

After the Sewol Tragedy, the Coast Guard supposedly did a huge revamp after getting disbanded back in 2014 then reinstated. So it's a big promotion/advertisment for the Coast Guard to be on Run Jin. I wouldn't be surprised if someone from the Coast Guard PR team is very much aware of Rotten Mango's video and how many views it has. But overall I loved the episode. I love watching Jin cheat on these games because it's so funny and it always throws off his guest star. I guess he's getting all his cheating out before the boys come back becasue there's no way they are letting that fly when Run BTS starts again.

Ya'll should watch this video that Sandeul posted on his YouTube Channel lol it was funny to hear Jin call someone hyung 😂 it's very nice to see Jin with a good friend 💜 https://youtu.be/73hqvqib9Ww?si=O_ZxnH83kGY1aWeg

Yep, I was coming to say exactly that

The news of Liam has shook me to the core, 1D was huge part of my teenage and growing up . Although i had stopped following or liking Liam a while back due to his abusive action , but I still can not help but feel immense sadness for such tragic death. I believe he should have been treated better, raising to such fame at such young age indeed took toll on him and led to his addictions. I believe he should have gotten chance to redeem himself, do right by the woman and other people he wronged. Grief doesn't come from the place of reciprocated Love it sometimes could simply comes from just having heart, sharing a fondest memory , grief is nuanced and often illogical . I saw the statements of rest of the 1D members and it broke my heart seeing their regret . I hope he is at peace and hope his family and everyone associated with him has all the support they need. Although i can not help but say as the dierhard fan of 1D and now diehard lover of BTS is that those boys were never able to form the bond that BTS have formed , the trust and respect they have not jst for each other as person but also each other's art is what has kept them strong and still going . I just wish world is more kinder to them , and they know that army will always have their back !

Aww I love them two 🤧

RUN BTS producers love a plot twist, I’m convinced they have a prank kink. There’s usually an element that BTS will be clueless about. So it’s possible Jin didn’t know but it’s also possible that he’s pretending… either way, this was so much fun 😂🤣

Zana

J&J you got to watch the behind scenes, Lol 😂 it’s funny. They are close friends indeed. https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMhP3JkuR/

Tuesday is now my favorite day of the week because of Run Jin. That man is effortlessly funny!

Jin definitely had no idea what was happening until he got there. The production team probably had a plan for this and just asked Jin to blindly invite someone to do a show on this day, and Jin asked Sandeul. During the call they played, Jin told him that they hadn't planned anything for the shoot yet. And when Sandeul showed up, Jin still hadn't told him anything about what they were doing because he didn't know himself. Jin said that he was only just now told they would be getting on a boat. And you could tell Jin was genuinely confused about the Coast Guard showing up by the look on his face and the way his voice sort of deepened and got very quiet when he asked "What are they doing here?" There are some times when the production team informs them beforehand of what they'll be doing, and then there are times like this, where the keep it a secret. The joke Jin said early on: If a mackerel is big, shouldn't it be "big mackerel"? The Korean word for Mackerel is 삼치 (sahm-chee). 삼 (sahm) is one of the words for the number "3". He added 1 to it and said it as 사치 (sah-chee). 사 (sah) is the number "4", which is a "bigger" number than 3. And incidentally, 사치 actually means "lavishness". Sometimes Jin's jokes require a bit of Korean language context. I actually have a bit written up about some of the riddles from the last episode, if you guys were interested in seeing it. I didn't have it written out yet back when I watched your reaction to Episode 9. Just offering if you guys were curious. Yeah, the scale of this episode is ridiculous. For the production team to have contacted the Coast Guard to take part in this (or maybe the Coast Guard wanted to do something a bit different for their promotions and reached out themselves, who knows?), and to get the proper permissions to film on a government ship of that size, is amazing. They were provided footage from the helicopter itself to use for the show, and were allowed to fly a drone for footage during the drill. I can't even image the red tape that was necessary for this one episode. And the final cut definitely had to be presented to the Coast Guard for approval of the footage used before they could air it. And may I point out that I think we got a glimpse of Jin's Military Assistant Instructor voice a bit when he was counting the chest compressions. His voice got deeper and his counts were very precise. That wasn't his usual speaking voice. He reverted a bit. It was surprisingly attractive....🙃 For the Tuna game, one person calls out a "number" of tuna. Starting with the next person, that number of people have to sit up and chant. You have to know how far away you are from the person who said the number, so you know if you should go or not. If you sit up when you shouldn't or don't sit up when you should have, you're out. So, if the BTS members are sitting in this order: Jin - Suga - Hobi - RM - Jimin - V - JK And Jin says "4 tuna", then the next 4 players have to sit up (Suga, Hobi, RM, Jimin). Then Jimin, as the last person in line of "tunas" gets to say a number. If he says "5 tunas", then V, JK, Jin, Suga, and Hobi have to sit up. Then Hobi gets to say a number. And it continues around like that until people mess up. I loved the energy of this whole group. You can tell that they all really had fun with this shoot. Everyone's chemistry was fantastic. Honestly, they're all such cheaters. They all gave as good as they got. This was so amazing. I made the mistake of watching this for the first time while eating lunch at work. I nearly spit out my food multiple times. This was just too hilarious. I'm honestly not too sure how to feel about the next episode. I'm not really a fan of horror stuff. I HATE being scared. I usually have a hard time watching stuff like that. I only made it through the zombie episode of Run because J-Hope and Suga were hilarious. But I couldn't look the zombies in the face. So, I'm sort of scared for the next episode. He sounds like he's legitimately screaming. And he's wearing a hanbok? I think they must have filmed that one around Chuseok. That's when the traditional clothes usually come out. Sorry for the long post, I sort of kept pausing to type up a comment as I went and it ended up super long.

I loved this episode seriously! Not only bcos I love seeing Sandeul with Jin, but also bcos the Coast guard guys are just so fun to watch too! 🥰 Jin truly has the talent of befriending everyone. It's actually nice to see those Coast guard men commented under this Run Jin video and thanked Jin for making them feel comfy during the day of the shoot (you'll see them at the top comments). He can really make anyone around him feel comfortable, bcos he knew that they, as BTS members, can be intimidating to others bcos of their massive popularity. But Run Jin had been showing that he can relate to ordinary but extraordinary people like farmers, the Run staff, high school & law students, a bunch of extras running in a chasing game, even kids and workers at a PC cafe, and now the Korean Coast Guard. I love it! On that next episode, oh dear! 😨 An early Halloween treat! I actually wish he was with Hobi coz who knows how they'll break our speakers and headsets if they're together in this sort of like a horror house! 😂 Makes me wonder too - will you two dress up for a Halloween reaction video?? 😁 Thanks for this reaction. I always love a dose of Run Jin every week!! Borahaeee mah FAVE brosss 💜

J-Lee

You're so right J&J about the media's capacity to twist stuffs like this-- like after the incident with Yoongi, I'm sure the members, esp Jin who's the only one outside of the military at the time, they're trying to be more careful not to do anything wrong. I could just imagine what's going on in my poor bby's mind at the time of that prank 😣 Just a few notes on this episode: POI means person of interest. Like a suspect, I believe 🤔 Lee Junghwan is the real name of Sandeul, so they're the same person, yes. And the game when they were lying on the sand - it was the Super Tuna game. They played it on the Dangerous Invitation episode (with TXT Yeonjun) - calling out the number of tunas then they had to stand/dance shouting "jumping tuna, jumping tuna!" I'm pretty sure you had understood the game back then 😅

J-Lee

The caption from CNN regarding (Liam) said he died in Costa Rica, it was actually Argentina, I believe

LaLaJin

My thoughts exactly

Singa7⁷

All I could think of when I watched this as well was the horrible failures of the Coast Guard during the Sewol Ferry disaster. I'm sure the Coast Guard had a massive revamp after that disaster. If anyone can help with resetting the mindset toward a disgraced organization, I guess it would be BTS.

Laurie Brennan⁷

I was glued to my seat! Also... did they only employ hot guys in the coastguard?!

Aylaᴿᵖʷᵖ

Poor jin i felt for him. He looked so sad and worried but it was one of the funniest episodes so far loved it

chantal bavaud
