While we’ve already done deep dives into all but one song on this album (“Converse High”), hearing the songs sequentially, without pausing, HIT DIFFERENT!
HYYH Pt. 1 is a beautiful, cohesive and timeless piece of art. The rapid growth of BTS from 2 Cool 4 Skool, O!RUL8,2?, Skool Luv Affair, and Dark & Wild to HYYH Pt. 1 is ASTOUNDING!! As the description on the BIGHIT website reads, “In each track are distilled poetic and pop emotions that allows the listener to sense both the soft and the resounding musical transformation of the group.” We need to know who writes these descriptions because they are SPOT ON.
