“Friends” is a gentle, pop-ish ballad with a very nostalgic and sentimental vibe. Jimin and V’s emotional vocals & lyrics perfectly capture the depth and beauty of their friendship. In a world where we often prioritize individual success and achievement over personal connections, “Friends” shows us the power of doing just the opposite. Maintaining connections with close friends (as difficult as it may be) can be life-changing.
As twins who were also born in 1995, we can relate SOOOOOOO much with the relationship that our fellow 95-liners have. We grew up attached to one another’s hip (not literally conjoined, but we had our hands on one another at any moment we could). Though we have grown out of it for the most part, we still smack each other on the butt every now and then when nobody's looking 😂

Just going through older videos since I newly have access! I love their bond. There’s a great compilation of basically them in their own world with the rest of the members third wheeling. That dumpling incident - it had very little to do with dumplings. At the time, Tae was shooting Hwarang along with rehearsing with BTS and having a really hard time balancing both. He also made some new friends doing it (still friends and called the Wooga squad). Well, Jimin wasn’t thrilled with that especially the ease that the Woogas say I love you. There’s a hilarious video where Jimin tells Tae to go play with his Hwarang hyungs. What I love about the two of them is that they are the first to compliment each other and they do the little things that really matter. Jimin will make sure that V is heard when he speaks up (or lets him know he’s listening) and V is more conscious about letting Jimin know how much he loves him. They look at each other with such fondness.

It’s so relatable 😂😂 Vmin’s bond is so strong, they’re so playful with each other, and I love that anytime they role play, the other memebers just pretend it’s not happening cause they’re so used to it lol. They were singing so hard and they ran out of breath and got tired lol. Actually there’s a bts episode? Where they all get in a karaoke machine and perform each other’s songs. So yes, they were living together as trainees and going to the same high school. I believe they were at an arts-focused high school commonly attended by idols. Jimin went to Busan High School for Performing Arts initially, so I think he transferred when he moved to Seoul.
