How do we even begin to adequately express our sonic pleasure, appreciation and overall LOVE for this album?? Jimin's "Letter" was so raw and beautiful that we had to listen twice.
Today's reaction video is somewhat of a continuation of a reaction video that we posted on our YouTube channel, where we watched the “LIKE CRAZY” MV for the very first time, along with Bookish Theories’ Explanation, AND Jimin’s LIVE PERFORMANCE on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon!! Immediately after listening to ‘LIKE CRAZY’, we felt it necessary to head over to Spotify and give this album a full listen through (starting from track ONE and ending with the “hidden track”).

Watching you just listen to the album was so refreshing and meaningful and special, I just really enjoyed it because you have genuine reactions to the music first without knowing the lyrics, like we all do. I of course have listened and know the lyrics by the time I came to your reaction, and yet it was still new and I loved it. I cannot in any way pick a favorite song, it's as if one song can't exist without the other. The album feels like one 24 minute song because it truly one masterful story or journey to self-acceptance and freedom. I'm so proud of Jimin for sharing such a personal journey with us, and we are so fortunate to be witness to this journey. I too believe this mimics the stages of grief which do make perfect sense since he says it was about his feelings during the pandemic when he struggled through feeling he may have lost everything. You can so see that expressed during the MOTS ON:E final ment, when he broke down. It definitely felt like those emotions just couldn't reside in his body any longer. He says that while doing PTD he told the members he was still struggling, which was hard because they were out performing, so he should have been happier, but he was still not where he felt he should be. I am so happy that they encouraged him to write about it, because that's how we got FACE. I personally also believe that Jimin used this time to FACE some deeper things he felt personally and had battled even beyond the pandemic, but that's only my intuition because being alone can really make you left with only your thoughts, and Jimin himself has expressed he over thinks, so I'm hoping he was also able to reconcile some of that too. I really appreciated how you both described this time and how beautiful it is that BTS didn't just all enlist at the same time (even though some of us sometimes wish they had so they'd be out all together) but honestly doing it this way and as you put it - easing us into them being gone really was such a loving gift. I hadn't necessarily thought of it like that before. I kind of thought of it more for them and it being a time for them to explore themselves in an individual way and we were just benefitting greatly from that. And while it definitely is about that as well, I love the idea that this was also part of their preparing ARMY for the time without them. I'm literally cried almost non-stop for a week after the 2022 Festa Dinner when they announced the solo projects and OT7 break and while I always believed even then that it had more to do with the military, it didn't make it better, mostly because I've experienced more life than they have and all I kept thinking was that "best laid plans don't always pan out" and that things can just happen. So, while I believed them 1000% that they wanted to be back together after their OT7 break, even they didn't know what that would feel like, so how could they know how they would feel after, and so I cried for a solid week. I honestly didn't know what was wrong with me, because that was not like me at all. I eventually decided I just needed to trust them and hope for the best. Then as time past and we learned more, I felt better. But this Chapter 2 of BTS has been more than I ever imagined. I just have enjoyed thoroughly how each member has done something so different, and something so unique to themselves that only they could do it and it wouldn't have been the same as BTS. I really see their individuality growing, them growing into themselves and seeing themselves as more than just part of a group and that's so important for personal growth even still loving BTS. I know they've expressed before not knowing what to say now or struggling with that, but I see them with so much more individual experience and knowledge going through these solos that when they are back together as BTS, the world will never know what hits them because their magic will grow and be better times 70000000000! I honestly cannot wait to see what happens in 2025 and see what they have to say after everything they're going through now. Chapter 3 is going to tear down the house and honestly hopefully the industry - cuz it sure needs it. But back to Jimin. I cannot stop listening to FACE and watching the videos, every single one and all of the performances. I really can't wait for your deep dive but also I hope you will watch his live performances on the 3 music shows, because they show even more. Jimin made a masterpiece and that's all there is to it. The fact that Like Crazy was not played on RADIO is their complete loss and honestly they should be ashamed of themselves, sadly I'm not surprised. But as I said, they're not done and neither is Jimin and this new freedom he has, I think he will only do even better things with it, And while I know they all want OT7 just like the rest of us, I see them finding a way to work on both now because they've done it, or at least I hope so. Anyway sorry this was so long. But, you'll find I talk alot and can go overboard especially when it comes to BTS.
