WE LAUNCHED A DISCORD!!!! 🎉

ARMY, the day has finally come...WE LAUNCHED A DISCORD SERVER!!!

We will now have the ability to communicate with all of you in ways that we have not been able to up until this point. AND…you will now have the ability to communicate with us and each other in unique ways as well!

At the moment, our Discord Server is bare bones. We have three separate “text channels” that coincide with each of our Patreon Tiers. We also have an exciting "voice channel" for ARMY Gold members, as well as some more general channels (rules, announcements, etc.) that are open to everyone. Attached is a screenshot of the various channels.

We will be relying on the Discord-expertise that many of you have to help guide us through this new territory! If you are intimidated by Discord, extremely unfamiliar with the platform, or simply unsure of where to begin...YOU ARE NOT ALONE. We're right there with ya 😂 It may take us a while to get used to the platform, but we'll get the hang of it sooner or later!!

If any of you are interested in volunteering to assist us with the coordination of this Discord Server, or would like to serve as MODERATORS, please let us know!!

Questions for anybody willing to provide feedback:

• What additional Discord “Channels” (if any) would you like to see or think are needed?
• What additional “Rules” (if any) do you think are needed for the “Rules Channel”? We found a template that we are working off of right now, but please let us know if you would like to make any changes/additions!
• What Discord "bots" or "apps" do you recommend we add?
• What else can we do to make our Discord an even more beautiful place than it already is? 😜

INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOW TO CONNECT TO OUR DISCORD:

1️⃣ Go to "Settings" on your Patreon account.

2️⃣ Click on the "More" Tab at the top of the page.

3️⃣ Click on "Connected Apps" in the drop-down list.

4️⃣ Click on the Discord tab ("Access Discord roles from your creators")

5️⃣ Click "Connect"

6️⃣ If you already have a Discord Account that is signed in on your device, click "Authorize." If you do not already have a Discord Account OR are not signed in on your device, you will need to create one and/or sign in using the on-screen instructions.
