LESSON #1 - โ€œThe Hangul Alphabetโ€ | Learn Korean w/ Jared & Jordan!

We survived our FIRST EVER Korean Language Lesson! And youโ€™re gonna survive it too ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ

Today, Teacher Wonji introduces us to the Hangul Alphabet, and teaches us a ton of new words and phrases.

Below (and attached) are resources that correspond with todayโ€™s lesson. Teacher Wonji encourages everyone to utilize them until next class.

Weโ€™ll likely have to rewatch this lesson multiple times and practice hard using the resources Teacher Wonji provided before weโ€™ll feel comfortable moving on to new material!

NOTE: For the time being, we will NOT be setting a specific frequency for release of videos in this series. This is due to the massive editing effort these episodes take. However, we will tentatively plan to release a piece of content (video, post, etc.) every 2 weeks.

๐Ÿšจ PLEASE LET US KNOW IN THE COMMENTS BELOW IF YOU HAVE ANY FEEDBACK OR SPECIFIC QUESTIONS YOUโ€™D LIKE US TO ASK TEACHER WONJI DURING OUR NEXT LESSON ๐Ÿšจ

ARMY, as always, we truly appreciate your love and support (WEโ€™LL CONTINUE SAYING THIS UNTIL THE END OF TIME). Your subscription allows us to produce higher-quality reaction videos, and moves us closer to our goal of doing this full-time! Let us know if you have any questions, feedback, thoughts, etc. at any time! BORAHAE!! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ

Well done Wonji! Well done Jordan! Well done Jared! Back for a second viewing to share that this video format was so well done and clear. Visually pleasing. I can tell a lot of thought was placed on the presentation and motivates us viewers to participate and practice. Bravo ๐Ÿ‘

It seems like Teacher Wonji (Wonji suhn-sang-nim (teacher)) kind of glossed over was DAH or YO at the end of a sentence/phrase is used when speaking to strangers and people older than you; you can even say it to younger person when meeting them for the first time.

Thank you!!! Yes, we realize that first lesson may have been a lot so we will be mindful of maybe taking it a bit slower as we move forward :) Thank you for watching

Dear Jared and Jordan and our incredible instructor Wonji this was so encouraging . I was smiling big and walking around my place and repeating the phrases with so much joy. Talking about coincidence/ serendipity - In my classroom we have a new Korean student who doesn't speak English. Here is my daily opportunity to practice and get comfortable. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’œThank you all for this amazing opportunity to study together. Borahae to all ๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿ’ช๐ŸปFighting

This was a great first lesson (: I was happy that I actually knew some of the phrases. I will say going over everything was a bit overwhelming and a lot of info and it seemed like towards the end you guys were both feeling that also, but practice makes perfect. I am excited for the next lesson (:

Aaaaah, seeing this got me all excited! ๋„ˆ๋ฌด ๋„ˆ๋ฌด ์‹ ๋‚˜์š”! (I'm very, very excited) I got to practice my Korean and, at the same time, hear you guys speak in Korean and learn Korean as well. ์—ฌ๋Ÿฌ๋ถ„๊ณผ ํ•จ๊ป˜ ๋ฐฐ์šธ ์ˆ˜ ์žˆ์–ด์„œ ์ฆ๊ฑฐ์› ์–ด์š”!
