That's the reason, Danger became my fave in that era because I relate to it so much. In a past relationship, the start was so good and all, then suddenly, I was left hanging. Danger helped me move forward from that. Anywho, am excited as you progress with the BTS discography. HYYH is in my top 3. 💜💜💜

There are compilations of them just roasting each other or being brutally honest with each other or bickering (Jimin and yoongi bicker quite often all in love and fun tho) and it’s fun to see that side because you know they’re just doing it in good fun. If you watch more bon voyage or even run bts and eventually in the SOOP you get to see these moments more. They are free to do and say what they want and they certainly don’t hold back.

2023-01-08 20:05:52 +0000 UTCI think it's safe to say that yes, a lot of criticisms were made about their presumed "sexist" lyrics back in the day specially with Boy in Luv and War of Hormones but in my humble opinion, that was never their intention. This is why we need to really understand their lyrics, and we should remember that this is during their teenage years, and it is in the perspective of a BOY / MALE / MAN. Of course, they will not write lyrics in the perspective of women. The whole theme of their earlier albums centered on romantic relationships were about the feelings of men, coz guess what? they're MEN. Boy with Luv was about teenage life, where some girls tend to lead boys on trying to get their attention and play with their feeling but not reciprocate. Then DANGER is about relationships where it's one sided, the man does everything he can to express his love, but some women take them for granted. We need to accept the fact that this happens in real life, men can be victims by women too in love relationships, so I understand that some would feel that it could be against women, but it's not attacking women in general or degrading them. They were just interpreting the viewpoint of some men who are in these types of relationships which are valid and not sexist at all. In the case of War of Hormone, it has already been explained that the English translations were wrong and they never meant to objectify or degrade women.

You touched on the fact that BTS introduces us to new musicians. I can't count the number of artists I have explored or discovered since BTS, either because of a collaboration or a cover (JK has done so many covers on his lives) such as Halsey, Lauv, MAX, Pink Sweat$, Paul Blanco and so many others. I laughed when you talked about how they seem so open in their older interviews and more "cautious" now that they are in the bigger world stage. It reminded me of another old interview where they were calling each other perverts and calling out who was watching porn. These guys know each other too well...lol. Thanks for reacting.

You have to watch them in interviews, I have never seen a group of guys more honest and open in an interview than they are. One of the reasons I became Army is because these guys wear their hearts on their sleeves and will talk about anything. My very favorite is the interview is where Jimin called out the guys for being perverts and then J hope told the world that RM has a computer with "virus's on it" OMG it is so funny. I want to start is off with I totally called it with Jordan loving the Mo-Blue-Mix lol So, as I say in my DMS to y'all, if you're going to do this in order, Dark & Wild listen to it from top to bottom. Even if you don't do a live reaction video for every track. But definitely you need to do War Of Hormone and Look Here (please do Look Here!!!). BTS do a lot of remixes and different versions of their songs, as well as acoustic versions. And then by the time you add in lyrics, the music video, dance practices etc there is so much content for each song!

I don’t mind upbeat aggressive songs, sometimes I like it a lot. but there is something so good about stripped down versions. Fortunately, they’re not a product of their environment. You’ll see later on, they dive into so many genres, and they do it well I must add lol! Anyways, if you wanna see the vocal line go nuts, must listen to Let Me Know, Tomorrow and House of Cards. There are many acoustic performances of Tomorrow and Let Me Know. Some on radio stations. My fav is the tomorrow performance on roof top! Love that song :D House of Cards, well, that live performance is just brilliant by the vocal line :) oh! And outro: school luv affair, really short but got that r&b sound I like :) PS, you guys have a lot of discipline not listening to I need you lol

I love all of their songs but most of my favorite songs are b-sides. i think you are gonna love "house of cards" witch reminds me a little of this acoustic version just a little more jazzy. but they tend to make different versions of their title tracks to make it more idk more memorable maybe. Fake love has a rock version too and Butter has so many remixes. i dont think i have listen to it all. and they also have demo versions only available on proof album cd 3. they also have hidden tracks. i think you are gonna like the more new BTS i do too. since their love yourself era and wings that´s why i think so many have requested a full album renew because their really good songs is the b-sides. but i understand the lyrics can be a big handful, so maybe you can do a explanation video instead and maybe only for the more special songs with deeper meanings.

I loved it 😍🔥 And then, I know it's not related to today's video and you have already sooooo much content to react to BUT... There are two interviews I would particularly love to see your reaction to so I'll post it here and you do with it however you like 😇 The first one is "You Quiz on The Block ep. 99". I feel like this interview was perfect because you see the boys playing games, meeting a fan of them (who is truly amazing and HILARIOUS) and speaking about their past as trainees. It's got it all and the hosts planned it really well with interesting questions. The second one is a very chill interview where they talk about each other with such admiration and respect, it's wonderful. And there is a segment I am particularly fond of where they all write something they want to hear from a specific member or say to a specific member (I hope ALL armys know what part I am talking about ! If not, you HAVE to go check it out 😱). 2023-01-08 00:31:45 +0000 UTCthis is a situation where i really understand jimins personality. the reason why he is my bias is also because we have similar personalities. in his younger days he used teasing and over complimenting himself as a icebreaker or a way to seem cooler than he really feels. When he deep down is really unsure of himself. i used the same method, and when people laugh at the things you say you just keep going. but what end up happening is that you say a few things you regret. Jimin might cringe when he rewatch this i am 100 procent sure. i do the same when i remember certain things. and being on camera you can´t just stop and say sorry so he tried to cover it up and say something nice instead. the thing he said about Suga being mean. and then right after compliments him for his unique look, to let him know it wasn´t meant like that. i also see Jin having some of the same traits as jimin. he feeds of other peoples laughs. so he also tend to say, or do something similar right after, to make it even more fun. but deep down he to has low self-esteem. Jin also talked about him being more happy after joying BTS and i understand why. the happiest time of my life was when i was young hang out with my friends. because after some times, my friends knew me to well. and knew i could say something stupid so they just teased me about it and it broke the shyness i felt after, and they knew i didn´t mean it. but what you see with jimin later on, is that he learns to embrace himself and i think the members really got to know him better. because Jimin only trained about 6 mouth before debuting so they did not know him that well yet. later he felt that being himself was okay. he didn´t have to put up a brave face and look cool. to me jimin and Jin had the most notable change in personality. JK also changed a lot. he use to cry way more and look bewildered, witch was just adorable♥

You will find so many hidden gems. Also there is another song from DARK & WILD that has a music video WAR OF HORMONE this to is worth a watch.

It was posted a couple months ago and it's beautiful and shows one of his many skills (as far as I know JK doesn't play piano but he is learning drums). I feel like you're noticing the difference between their early work and the more recent things you've reacted to. You can feel the fight so much in these earlier songs. Many of the songs are more intense, aggressive and hard hitting, also lots of rock elements. The guys were struggling and fighting for everything back then and it really comes through in their work and their personas. Of course they still have high energy and impactful songs now (like Run BTS for example) but there was this aggression, energy and fight in these early songs that really hits a bit differently. You'll see the change over time as you continue your journey. All eras are amazing in their own way but they've really developed over the nearly 10 years they've been together. Can't wait for more! 2023-01-07 23:34:55 +0000 UTCto answer your question, they were being serious about j-hope's looks; Kpop fans made a big deal about SUGA, RM, j-hope and Jimin not fitting the (very strict) Korean beauty standards as idols are meant to be perfect in every way. For some reason j-hope received the brunt of this and hashtags then trended about firing j-hope :( it was heartbreaking, The members were being typical lads at this time and making fun of each other including calling eo ugly, SUGA can be heard saying it to j-hope a fair amount in past vlives or similar, but after the hashtag debacle they stopped and began to compliment each other as they realised mental health was so important and they had to stick together while receiving hate from outside <3

I always watch the MV first with no subtitles; I like to focus on getting the feel and the meaning of the song just from how it sounds, and the visuals, then I watch the video a second time with the subtitles. I do that with any new Korean songs I listen to, even ones without MV's. Thanks again for the two videos on Danger - one of my favorite songs!

This demonstrates the urgency, hunger, and work ethic that defines OG BTS. Their sincerity of determination from the jump tells it all why the are the successful global phenomenon they are today. The future is written all over everything they did back then. Hence the reason OG BTS will always have a special place in my heart 💜
