Koreans are really good at making heartfelt ballads. both of those dramas are SO good i have watched almost all of them. i also love the songs from scarlet heart "My love" i cry everytime i hear it.

Sweet night was released as the ost of a drama and it has nothing to do with Christmas or winter necessarily. And Winter bear, unlike what the title suggests, was actually released in August and it's about his grandma.

They say "softly, gently" in the lyric video, but that's not really an accurate translation because it is a uniquely Korean mimetic word that describes the action of large snowflakes piling on the ground in a very gentle way and making a beautiful, soft snow bed.

By the way, Jordan, just like you said, I do play JKs cover of Oh holy night on repeat even on ordinary days when I feel I need something to lift me up. Also JKs cover of Falling (Justin B) is the other one. Jks cover of this song just takes me to another dimension, somewhere peaceful, serene, and heavenly that instantly makes me feel light at heart. I actually played this cover once when I was at the beach looking at the blue sky and wow, I had goosebumps! I hope you can also get to react to this one day.

But the year is coming to an end and I wanted to appreciate the hard work you have done to make so many BTS reaction videos that we ARMY love. So a SOPE (J-hope & Suga) song came to my mind. Otsukare is a song by J-hope and Suga, yes they are both singing in it. It is a very fun song and comedic performance that is weird in the best way possible. There is also a saying that Suga will do anything that J-hope suggests, and you will see that this song is completely out of Sugas comfort zone, but he still does it. My dad told me a while ago that he was working with an Army. Apparently she has photocards on her desk and my dad recognised them. I brought home a little package of BTS things for my dad to pass to her for Christmas, and found that she did the same thing for me! Neither of us knew that the other was going to do this and we've never even met. I didn't even know her name. She even asked my dad who my bias was so most of the items are Jimin related. Army's are the best! I loved this chill, relaxed video. I know you love to take a deep dive into every song, but this was perfect for christmas. However, there is something in the lyrics for Christmas Love that I think you'll find interesting. Jimin sings a word that was talked about everywhere online, because there is no direct translation to English. The word is "소복소복" (sobok sobok). From what I've seen, it seems to mean "falling falling" but specifically describing the sound of snow softly falling. (If any Korean speaking Army's see this, please correct me if I'm wrong) Remembering this just made me excited to get into our Korean lessons in the new year! Hopefully, by next christmas, we'll be able to really understand "sobok sobok." I hope you're both feeling better. You still don't sound well. I know you often record late at night, but please make sure you are resting and taking care of yourselves. We will understand if you need to take a break. Your well-being comes first. Borahae!

Okay-- quick points: • Christmas tree I believe isn't necessarily a Christmas song. It's an OST of the drama My Beloved Summer. I don't know how much you guys like romantic comedy dramas, but if you'd be interested, watch it, it's really good! The male lead actor is V's close friend. He usually sings OST for the dramas of his friend actors. You might get an idea of why romcom K-dramas are a hit around the world.(it's in Netflix). And to mention, I CRY EVERY TIME V's SONG PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND 😭🤧 • Christmas Love is my most fave Christmas song since it was released. Jimin's voice just makes me smile always, like I always feel that bright, joyful spirit of Christmas bcoz of how lovely Jimin's voice is! 🥰💜 • The Christmas carol was perfect! You guys are right. The songs were definitely compatible for them as well as the pairings. They all complement each other so well. And isn't it fun to watch them behind the scenes in these shows? They used to be nervous during their rookie years. But now, they're just having too much fun, but still their focus was the same - it's to give ARMY their best.

The female lead in that drama is Kim Da-mi who also played the female lead in "Itawon Class" opposite of Park Seo-Joon another one of V's best friends and fellow wooga squad member (V also sang the lead soundtrack for that drama as well) It's funny watching Bts episodes where you can see the members BTS actually get jealous of V's relationship (in good fun) with his Wooga squad but that's whole other rabbit hole lol Great reaction as always guys! Snow Flower was Tae's Christmas gift to ARMY in 2020, hopefully you can react to that also at some point. So at least since 2020 when I joined the fandom Tae has given ARMY a song during Christmas, 2020 Snow Flower, 2021 Christmas Tree, and 2022 cover of It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas. As for the line about stars singing like Christmas Trees I took that to mean how stars shine brightly and twinkle in the dark night sky and Christmas trees do the same, shine brightly and twinkle. So shining and twinkling is basically the stars way of singing. Also Christmas Tree isn't a Christmas song that's just the title, Snow Flower would have been a better choice for wanting Christmas themed songs and if you ever deep dive into it you'll find it actually had an additional message behind it, I won't spoil you what it is. 💜

Due to being snowed in for the last few days, we are going to try to make our Christmas happen tomorrow. I love this Gayo Medley performance....I've watched it so many times since becoming ARMY. JK's version of "Oh Holy Night" can bring me to tears with some of the notes he hits. They all did amazing. You can also see a great version of the rappers and vocalists singing together in their cover of Coldplay's "Fix You" (would be blocked on YT). Their voices all meld together so perfectly. I laugh every time I see Suga in this performance singing his heart out. Suga, who was assured he would be a rapper who wouldn't have to dance when being recruited. I wonder if he is saying in his head during this candy cane dance "You're still a badass rapper Yoongi". I hope you might get to V's "Snow Flower" for his birthday....it's more of a "winter" song to me than a "Christmas" song, but I just love it and play it year round. "Stigma" is going to blow your minds too. I hope you had a wonderful day today J & J and ARMY.

For this one, it is based on 2 high school sweethearts that are clearly in love - eventually separated - but then their paths cross again, in a different way of course (I won't ruin it if someone here wants to see it). But this verse is like nature celebrating the love that they have for each other - even if they both have not realized it yet. Whispering of the stars - They're singing like Christmas Trees For us. There love is like shinning stars shinning brightly like presents under a Christmas tree. There is an endless sense of curiosity and longing here.

Thank you, guys 💜 - Edit - You got a glimpse of how busy promotions and end of year TV shows are in Korea. 2019, the guys were everywhere they worked so hard, released MOTS Persona, world tour intermittently up to October, performed at all the major KR award/TV shows, then they flew to NYC for NY Rockin Eve. It was a lot. Hope you feel better 💜

Woo Shik the main character is a good friend of Taehyung. They are part of the woogasquad who met in/ during hwarang. They also have their own in the soop friendcation series. And since I'm spending my Christmas being sick as well, this was exactly what i need to feel better

Here’s my Romanian mom’s recipe and it really works A mug with boiled water or tea 1/2 lemon juice 1 teaspoon of honey 1 1/2 ounces of Rum or Whiskey (this is optional but it works best if you can drink alcohol) Drink it while it’s really hot immediately before bed. Wear something warm and get under the covers. You’ll sweat it out overnight and should feel much better in the morning. Please take care of yourselves 🤗💜💜🇨🇦
