Today, in order to prepare us for Chapter 3 of The Rise of Bangtan, we check out “Attack on Bangtan.” This song was released on September 11, 2013 and appears as the sixth track on their first Extended Play (EP), O!RUL8,2?.
The funk, the groove, the Go-Go…this song had it all. And when the members cleared the stage for JK to bless us with his vocal dexterity and MJ-like presence…chills. We hope you enjoy today’s wild ride.

Jimin couldn't stop laughing becasue he wasn't expecting V to say Nikko-nikko-ni! Not sure where that came from though lol. V was so chaotic during that Japan concert.

2022-09-07 14:17:57 +0000 UTCI am SO excited I can make y’all some (traditional) fanart and write a letter! *Many sounds in Korean are long vowels and it's very rare (from what ive seen) for the vowels to change sounds so all A's sound like Ah, all O's sound like Oh, all EU's sound like Ooh (kinda anyway). There are some slightly unfamiliar sounds but the base is very similar. If needed, Bangtan Sonyeondan is a great example to remember (B-ah-ng T-ah-n S-Oh-n Y-Aw-n D-Ah-n)

It's a suga song, actually August D, TONY MONTANA but he performance on live with Jimin. Just a note on the lyrics about stepping on the backs of seniors, I think they’re referring to the structures in society and essentially saying ‘NO’ to it. They don’t mean seniors in the sense of a senior citizen or just the older members 😂 but those above them in society. When they’re performing, or ‘on the stage’ (as the lyrics go) they are fighting to defy the norms and want to rise up against them. And that’s what the choreography with stepping on their backs symbolises as well I think. Can’t wait for more from you two 💜💜💜

Love him so much! 💜 There's lots of them who stayed with BTS from their bottom up to their rise (like PDogg, ome of their producers and many more) and all of them are now the highest paid PD's in South Korea. Their hard work and loyalty really paid off 💜

He is their choreographer/performance director. In the early days he had to double as a background dancer so you will frequently see him on stage with guys. 2022-08-19 01:21:09 +0000 UTCThis song is such a mood lifter. The last performance in particular reminds me of what fun chaos their shows are. They are hyper professional but also approachable fun. They don’t take themselves too seriously and are half comedians I swear. Tae had a “job” to liven up the song and let him be his full mischief self and yes he broke Jimin with his “Niko Nico Nee” lyric I never stop laughing at that either, like JK did that epic knee slide and then Tae with his anime girls voice. I’ve always theorized they give them such complex choreography because otherwise they climb the furniture and each other. Like a pile of romping puppies pure joy and fun as they all go 110%. I saw a local reporter in either the recent LA or Vegas show who saw them first the time on Twitter afterwards say approximately “Yes they were good songs but I didn’t expect how fun and funny they were”.

2022-08-18 22:05:25 +0000 UTCseniors would be older kpop groups in the industry meaning theyre surpassing the other groups with their amazing music gaining popularity. the way they talk is always in honorifics so theres rookies, juniors and seniors in the kpop industry (they have specific names in korean too) and bts are saying theyre gonna surpass or theyre already surpassing the other senior groups. which they eventually did. bts are now considered the seniors in the industry. in a later song by jhope called Hangsang, youll see him use the sentence "using your seniority to harass others" he was talking about older groups looking down on bts knowing bts cant really stick up for themselves as theyre younger either in age or in career. you always have to respect those older or more experienced than you even if theyre wrong.

Between beat and flow changes, it often feels like we are getting several songs in one more often than not. "Organized Chaos" is the best description I can think of of BTS in general....whether they are performing or livestreaming or anything else. "Seniors" means K-Pop groups that came before them. I just watched the whole 1st Muster this morning. When they took a break to talk to ARMY between songs, they spent most of their time telling ARMY how much they appreciated their attendance because they worried about if they would be able to fill the venue. 3,000 felt like a huge crowd to them at that time, but they always knew they were destined for big things. Jin loves throwing water into the crowd but the members also have water fights on stage frequently. Not only were the choreographies different for the 2 performances, they were also in different languages (Korean for the 1st and Japanese for the 2nd) Thanks for your great reaction.
