I grew up with the Smurfs, and Papa was one of my earliest discernible crushes. Something about that white-bearded, no shirt-wearing pint-sized hunk that not only pressed, but established a bunch of my buttons. And hey, did they draw Papa all hairy as fuck in those days? Not that I can recall, but memory's a funny thing. Decided to pair him with Brainy cuz damn, in the old days that poor dude got no respect.
Also, I really like the idea that Smurf's kiss by rubbing noses, they're so big and round, why not right?
