Gay Gangsters of Gotham: Hemlock and Grundy
Added 2021-08-21 04:06:56 +0000 UTCSolomon Grundy has been called a monster, and perhaps rightly so as he is prone to fits of violence, and destruction often follows in his wake. However, when he was reborn out of Slaughter Swamp, some fifty years after he went in, he gained many new and unnatural properties. His strength is nearly unmatched and he is essentially immortal. He has become a living embodiment of the earth, an elemental if you will. Though he normally has trouble communicating with others, reduced to mumbling words of an old nursery rhyme, the being called Hemlock, or sometimes 'Poison Ivan' has the ability to commune with nature, especially plant life. When the eco-terrorist first met the towering Grundy, he immediately felt a connection with him. The two men were able to form a close kinship with each other, able to 'speak' through their shared psychic link, and it helps Grundy feel more peaceful than usual, perhaps even happy, and that makes him want to stay close to his new friend. Hemlock meanwhile now has incredible muscle at his beck and call as well as an eager and insatiable partner behind closed doors. In fact, this power couple has proven so capable in their new-found partnership that Gotham may never be the same as a result!
