Challenging the mouse to a drinking contest was just the warm-up, keeping him there after closing was a little trickier. Luckily the promise of free booze for what began as a simple game of 'truth or dare' got Monty right where Justin wanted him!
I'm actually rather surprised that Monterey Jack won this month's poll, but I'm very glad he did! I hope you folks are too! I've actually shipped Rescue Ranger's Monty with Secret of Nimh's Justin for about 15 years. I drew an old sketch back then of the two of them as drinking buddies, enjoying a night on the town, so this felt like the logical follow-up to me!

The mouse could have ducked out anytime but wanted to see how far things would go. As for the title, HA! Grin/wince combo is absolutely what I was going for! XD
