But today I had a bad new (ok, for me ~~ BUT I wanted to share with you... You know I had some medical complications, I had surgery, and now I'm recovering (with the right medications I know everything will work, so it's okay). SOOOO~~ just in case, today I took Astrid (my kitty) to the vet, because I think she was a bit sad. And they diagnosed her with "Felv" (the name here in Brazil, i dont know the correct term in english) is like a leukemia for cats. They gave just a few weeks of life/months for her. There is no cure, just a treatment so she doesn't feel so sick. She is sick. Gradually I see her playing less, eating less. And you know ... I adopted her, she came from the streets and brought me lots of love. Really. I don't know how to explain this feeling and the only thing I want is her to live, somehow. I feel like my heart is taken from me and I don't think I can handle it. I'll try everything. But I needed to open my heart to you. Suddenly, positive thoughts come together and something good happens, right? idk =/

So, yes, we get it... we understand how you want to do anything to keep her happy. Good luck, you have our love and support. big hug for you and Astrid. And as Victor mentioned above. See it like this, whatever happens with you takin Astrid in, you have given her love and care and attention that she would have never known, whatever happens from here on, think that her life and yours are better for having met.
