You have to download the GShade Program. Then right click on you "Sims 4" game icon, double click "Open File Location", click "gshade-presets", click "Custom", and drag & drop your reshades/gshades in that file. I just learned myself on my Windows PC. I recommend YouTubing a tutorial for any further guidance. Hope this helps!<3 :]

hii! i absolutely LOVE the way it looks in-game, but is there anyway to fix the lag? i have a pretty good desktop that can run 900+ cc but this rlly made it lag a bit :(( i only downloaded the effects needed for the preset so im a little confused

Hi! Have you tried reinstalling using the included guide? Or is it possible not all shaders got installed? There should be a picture at the end of the guide where you can compare setups!🤍 If none of these I'm sure we can still figure it out🤍

when I use it my game always gets super dark, almost black :( Does anyone know a fix to this?

The Reshade menu? Did you try pressing the numpad Home key? It's the default Reshade overlay button, shown in the tutorial here: https://miikocc.blogspot.com/2022/02/how-to-install-reshade-for-sims-4.html

If you have a shortcut anywhere, right click and "open file location", or the default path should be something like C:\Program Files(x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin
