Future - Monster - Uncut Album REACTION!!

Oh, and Jon, this is way deeper and better than Marvin’s Room from Drake. I’m sure you won’t agree with this but Drake makes lightweight pop rap that who knows if he even writes. You’d probably understand the lyrics more if you looked up the story of Throwaway and one more thing, Poverty in the US is really fucking bad. Gangster rap only exists because how bad poverty is in the US. The manners of non-toxicity are for the bourgeoisie, and by that I mean people who came up like that and got an education to be like that, not people who got shot when they were 14, are high school dropouts and may only be alive because they made it out of poverty making music full of the language of groups of people who are just trying to survive in a context with no universal healthcare, a shitty public education system, barely enough money to eat and guns and police everywhere.

Just started listening to Future during quarantine over a year ago and I’m still understanding new shit about his music and for some of that I’ve had to read a lot of shit about his background, the story of him and the producers, the context of the relationship with Ciara and how that seemingly made him into the artist that made Monster, everything after that and has been the most influential to rap of anyone in the last 10 years, but basically in 2-3 years. Future listening‘s a lot of work. Give Jon some grace. Future is a musical genius who came out of the genre of trap music. Who would even think to research 🔬 what he says and the contexts? At the same time, Jon, the more you get to read about Future during that run that started with Monster and his musical influences (He was in a group with Outkast, Cee lo, and his cousin who is basically responsible for 90s Atlanta sound—produced hella outkast & Waterfalls!), the more lots of his music and brilliance will make sense, in my half humble opinion

Future went deeper into his drug addiction & street shit when Ciara left him for Russell as a way to cope, but some vulnerability shined through on Throwaway & Hardly
