I dont know if anybody else hears it or if this is what he was going for, but in my own weird listening experience I felt it sounded like some kind of underwater dance music, maybe its the music video for Big Fish that influenced that thinking. Also it's takes on the depressing, lonely, isolated vibes of the ocean. Along with the muffled style sound on a few songs, I just thought he depicted that vibe and tone so brilliantly, which also makes Big Fish Theory the perfect title. And the way he took that west coast long beach sound to a higher plane with this electronic sound was so genius. Like nobody expected that.

In 2016 Vince opened for Flume on his Australian tour. I believe that Flume’s production style and beats definitely influenced Big Fish Theory

Feel like you should definitely check out some Flume if you love the production on this album. Skin is a massive album in modern Australian music

I remember discovering this Album after watching the Black Panther Trailer with the BagBak Instrumental in it. I was absolutely blown away by that beat and to afterwards hear the whole album was amazing.
