2020-07-02 17:30:12 +0000 UTCI genuinely think The Life Of Pablo is Kanye’s most complete work. It took some time to grow but it has an incredible amount of variety stylistically and every song is crisp on the production. You have some experimental work with songs like Wolves and Freestyle 4. Some dance cuts like Fade. Some true rap from Kanye on No More Parties in LA and 30 hours. I could go on and on about the variety in this album but Kanye captures every aspect of his discography on this one album, from Yeezus to The College Dropout, and the ease with which you can listen to the album straight through is unparalleled compared to his other work. The features sprinkled throughout the album like The Weeknd on FML and Kendrick on NMPILA are perfectly placed and keep things spiced up. Also impressive that the project is 20 tracks long but feels like there isn’t a song that doesn’t belong.

2020-07-02 16:58:30 +0000 UTCMBDTF. It was the culmination of the sound of every other album he’d made up to that point. It had tranquil & muted emotional moments of 808s over natural instruments All of the Lights Interlude, Blame Game) as well as auto tune/vocoder moments (Gorgeous, Runaway) it had the sample chopping of TCD (POWER, Devil in a New Dress, So Appalled...), the luxury sound of Late Registration, & the anthemic sound of Graduation. Not to mention he’d reached a status where he could focus on making sure he’d done each song justice in terms of structure & length. Also arguably not a bad feature on the album. Most Kanye albums have people talking about them for that year or for a few years, but MBDTF hasn’t stopped being talked about since it came out, 10 years ago

2020-07-02 16:14:27 +0000 UTCLife of Pablo because of the versatility he shows and all of the memories of everybody bumping songs from the album in the car, at parties, or any get together at the time.

2020-07-02 14:30:33 +0000 UTCMy Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy because some (including myself) consider it one of if not the best Hip-Hop record of the 2010s

2020-07-02 13:45:57 +0000 UTCGraduation might be my least favorite kanye album because it didn’t age well. Yeah you could say kanye does his thing on there but I never go back to it because it sounds like it’s stuck in 2007. It’s an example of kanye molding with the times rather than being revolutionary with other albums like 808s or Yeezus.

2020-07-02 12:29:15 +0000 UTCCollege Dropout is Ye’s best

2020-07-02 12:14:54 +0000 UTC808s and Heartbreak: The raw emotion alone makes me love this album the most of his discography - The first album after losing his mother. The first time hearing Kanye so vulnerable. Not to mention it paved the way for artists like Drake and Travis to name a few. Can’t fault any of the production either.

2020-07-02 11:57:45 +0000 UTCCollege Dropout. One of the first albums I've ever owned and it's always in the mix. A huge thing for me is seeing who is wanting to work with you and for a debut record to have so many legendary features but not get outshined speaks volumes of Kanye's talent. It also helps that Black Star is my favorite duo of all time and would definitely recommend a video on their record.

2020-07-02 11:56:33 +0000 UTCThe Life of Pablo - I think Kanye delivered so well with this album, the features alone are outstanding and his use of them is genius. Father strech my hands pt 1 is an absolute banger, and on the same album we have FML which is a slow and meaningful track about Kanye and his struggles with sex/women (also featuring Abel who has had similar struggles in the past. So diverse and no misses on this album make it my outright favourite.
Lewis B
2020-07-02 11:25:46 +0000 UTCThe College Dropout - It is Kanye at his hungriest and best lyrically (even though he had help). All Falls Down is still the best Kanye song of all time.

2020-07-02 11:15:07 +0000 UTCYe- i was going through a tough time in life (just like kanye during this era) and i felt like him and i were both trying to heal and become our best selves. Not my favorite musically, but the spiritual aspect and mental aspect of the whole album makes me feel at ease with myself, which is why it’s my favorite of his.

2020-07-02 11:05:57 +0000 UTCI love the life of pablo because I didn’t really appreciate it at first and found alot of the tracks to be ones that I would typically skip but after maturing I really felt that my opinion had changed on a lot of the songs and found a weird kind of beauty in them.

2020-07-02 10:57:53 +0000 UTCLate Registration - While MBDTF changed the game and College Dropout was the first big statement he made with an arguably classic album, while TLOP and Ye both were fantastic in their own way, Late Registration is truly a work of art that is often thought of as a second thought. There is no skippable and it is in many ways Kanye's most complete and intimate work. His live performance of the album with an orchestra behind him is also one of the goat performances tbh. Don't sleep on Late Registration.

2020-07-02 10:38:16 +0000 UTCYeezus because at the time it sounded crazy, like nothing out at the time. The lyrics had some real shock value and the production still sounds futuristic. I’m In It still goes crazy
Alex Fadil
2020-07-02 10:24:03 +0000 UTCTLOP - Personally just love how unstructured the album is and how raw it is. Got so many good songs like No More Parties in LA with Kendrick and Ultralight Beam, I know it’s not considered a classic but it’s personally my favourite
Jay Rimmer
2020-07-02 09:17:35 +0000 UTCThe College Dropout. A perfect start to a legendary career, going back and listening to it is like looking at old photos nostalgically. Contains some of Kanye’s best songs of all time tied together in a fantastic narrative.

2020-07-02 09:17:22 +0000 UTCMy Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, it might be a common pick for his best work but I genuinely think this is one of the best pieces of music put together in the last 10 years. I don't think I've ever heard an album where the first (definitely) nine (!) tracks just don't miss. The ego and cockyness in the songwriting in which he talks about the dark sides of fame together with the amazing production really makes it a 10/10 for me. Just listen to Devil in a New Dress again, please do.

2020-07-02 09:05:39 +0000 UTCGraduation. Grew up listening to it and something about the cover art has always stuck with me and just looking at it brings me great vibes. From the perfect song to start the day to the T-pain feature to the beautiful instrumentals from flashing lights and The Glory to lastly the genius writing ability to describe Chicago as a female in Homecoming. *Chefs kiss* Just the perfect album to play anytime, sometimes wish I could forget it all to have another First listen to this album.

2020-07-02 08:52:59 +0000 UTCMBDTF, it's the perfect culmination of every album Ye had released to that point. The beats are varied and multilayered, the features are phenomenal, and despite the tracks longer runtimes none of them seem to overstay their welcome. Easy 10/10 album.
Jayden Howard
2020-07-02 08:50:57 +0000 UTCThe life of Pablo, first heard ultralight beam in my brothers car after being picked up from school when the album first came out and it was an immediate hit to me. Also, this track is so diverse!. it can be played at parties, around a campfire or for me whilst I go to sleep. Love it
Cameron Harper
2020-07-02 08:40:23 +0000 UTCLate Registration, because I think these are the best samples Kanye has ever used in an album. He continues on a similar lyrical direction as College Dropout but a little more sophisticated, and he expands on a lot of more topics, where his work comes off as more mature. The production is 10/10 too!
2020-07-02 08:40:03 +0000 UTCYeezus because that was kanye best era from his cockiness, to music/fashion which made him a goat, and the yeezus tour was the best concert of the decade from the iconic mask to the stage design and performance of the songs.

2020-07-02 08:39:21 +0000 UTCWatch The Throne. It's the counterpart to his magnum opus MBDTF. That record took over the world. Has some of the craziest songs of all time. Incredible production and top tier lyricism. Its just perfect. The bonus tracks were at the exact same quality too which is wild.

2020-07-02 08:38:05 +0000 UTC808's - Blasphemy I know but the music prob means more to me than lyrics or flow when it comes to hip hop. And 808's is just so out there, unlike anything else I'd heard before I fell in love 1st listen. It led me to Travis and so many other forms of trap and melodic hip hop 👍

2020-07-02 08:37:45 +0000 UTCYeezus is definitely the one for me, love the heavy industrial soundscape and Bound 2 is probably my favourite Kanye song, such a great sample...
