Many of the verses were definitely phoned in and the album suffered from being so hook heavy, many of them are just too long and occur too frequently. That being said, I think of this album as a sampler of what Metro can do. All of the beats are top notch, there's a reason why disc 2 is just the instrumentals. I don't think it was meant to be looked at as a cohesive project but as a product that showcases Metro's versatility and just how clean and layered his beats are. It's a different kind of album where the beats are the thing to be listening to and the vocals are generic and not really meant to be the focal point.
