Glad to see some Outkast love, truly my favourite group l ever. Would definitely love to see you do Aquemini too, such a great classic album. As a side note if anybody ever thinks their job is hard just remember that Bigboy had to try to keep to the level of Andre pretty much his whole career. Insane respect to both of them!

New member enjoyed the reaction. Keep in mind when this album came out, NOBODY sounded like this. So even the beats that you say wee dated were not something that you were getting from the East and West coast. Literally everything about these dudes were different.

The underdog poll is by far the best thing you've done on this channel imo. Obviously the popular artists right now will have the upper hand in polls so giving old-school classics and lesser known artists a solid chance is going to expose yourself and hip-hop fans to some great projects. Btw, would love to see you give the rest of Outkast's discography a listen.

I'm glad you loved this album. This was the reaction that made me break down and get the patreon. I've listened to this album probably 100 times, so seeing a first reaction is odd. I've grown to love all the simpler beats and old school production, particularly because I didn't grow up with it. This album is hip hop in the true sense. Andre grew so much from their debut album but obviously their later albums grow in their eclecticity. That's not a bad thing, but if you want beats and rhymes, ATLiens is as good as it gets. Also, since you liked Cool Breeze, you really should listen to Goodie Mob's Soul Food. An Atlanta classic with Outkast features.
