Any chance of some Slowthai, Jon?

Turlough

Thomas Subbarao

XO artist Black Atlass is a solid next choice. His EP that got him signed to XO is called Haunted Paradise, dick piece of work, obvious influences from Abel and early Justin Timberlake. He’s gearing up for his second album release under XO so it’s only fitting you check him out before he blows up. Regardless, love what you do here Jon keep up the good work

Thomas Subbarao

Some Cudi, Old Wayne, some Griselda (westside gunn, benny the butcher, and conway the machine), old Tyler

Carlos Hendrix

ScHoolboy Q - Oxymoron

It's probably on here somewhere already, but I need to hear a reaction from you to Dear April by Frank Ocean! It's only the remixed version that's been released but the feels are insane on that track!

Dunno if it's been written but i'd like to see you react to "Pinata" by Gibbs & Madlib, especially since you've done "Bandana". Imo "Pinata" is the better record and it has some of Madlibs best production!

Sam Jarman

90059 & Blankface were both spontaneous listens for me & they are some of the illest shit I've ever heard!

So I’ve already said JMSN (Jameson, like the whiskey) and dvsn (Division), but honestly - P.O.S would be up your alley. He has a punk band called Marijuana Death Squads. He’s an amazing hip hop lyricist that actually combines rock/rap in an amazing way. You’d be pleasantly surprised as a rock fan how great this hip hop lyricist blends those two worlds

Damian Sanchez

DVSN - came out with 2 albums, on Drake’s OVO label. Both awesome. A duo of a singer and producer. Think you would really enjoy their sound, great voice and amazing production!

Damian Sanchez

Had to come in to support the channel after the Cilvia Demo reaction. I'm here to advocate for a Mac Miller season or, at the very least, a series with Watching Movies, GOOD AM and Swimming. I also second everyone who has suggested Because The Internet!

Jesse Hickman

I am really glad you started a patreon. I am in love with that Faces review. You gotta do Mac Miller Season please. This man is an all around genius. Rapper singer producer. The bars he spits the beautiful instruments on albums like The Devine Feminine and Swimming. All of his albums have such a deep meaning and are layered so deeply. Mac miller will always be my vote

Joe Gemino

you should check out Banks!! she makes incredible music. i found her when she opened for the weeknd back in the day, she's made some beautiful and interesting tracks

Aly

I’m begging you, please react to the album Trench by Twenty One Pilots! It’s such a great album and it’s semi-conceptual, you might need to use Genius to get a deeper understanding of the metaphors but all in all it’s an excellent body of work and I think you’ll really enjoy it ❤️

Tom Marchant

great projects

If you did some Joe Budden music, I think you would love it. If I die tomorrow, Pray for Me, Broke, or OLS 1-4 would definitely touch your soul and you’d love the rapping

CARLOS MORENO

Do Care for Me by Saba. or All-Amerikkkan Bada$$

Tristan Monteagudo

Since you loved The Weeknd, now you HAVE to do a 6LACK mini season. He only has 2 albums, Free 6lack (2016) and East Atlanta Love Letter (2018). A Bryson Tiller mini season after that, with TRAPSOUL (2015) and True To Self (2017), would help you understand this genre more. When The Weeknd came out he paved the way for guys like 6LACK and Bryon Tiller to open up a subgenre of RnB that's dark and heavily influenced by trap, dubbed Trapsoul after Byrson's album. Your main critique on 6LACK's song PRBLMS was that "I just dont care about his problems." But let's be real... you just listened to all of The Weeknd's problems... it's part of the genre.

Do a Kanye West season

Ivan soriq

I would love to see a reaction to some Ab-Soul

I think a great album to react to would definitely be the "Because the Internet" by Childish Gambino, absolute masterpiece in my opinion, and super underrated.

Also sooooo much appreciation for doing Isaiah Rashad. One of my most listened to artists of all time, you prob love The Water[S] by Mick Jenkins as well

I def think you should eventually check out Good A:M which is Macs next album after Faces. I’ve also always wanted to see your reaction to Because the Internet by Childish Gambino, maybe Awaken My Love after that if you’re into it. The evolution of Gambino is really amazing

I understand if you don't have the time for a full season of Mac Miller, but Swimming and GOOD AM should be on your shortlist at the very least. Other ideas-- Schoolboy Q - Blank Face LP or Oxymoron Any of Griselda- Benny, Conway, or Westside Gunn The Roots Flatbush Zombies- Drugs, Betteroffdead, or Vacation in Hell Maxo Kream

Luke

or Drake like others are saying

Jared Dudley

Honestly, you've listened to some Dave already - psychodrama would be a great album to listen to, or some of his earlier stuff if you fancy that instead. Quick edit: Question Time by Dave would be great too.

Kid Cudi 100%

Mason Versluis

I'd love a some sort of a Drake season. Not so much the newer stuff but the early 2010s is something I enjoy the most. I feel like it would be kinda nice following The Weeknd season because those early 2010s albums have some of the songs that were supposed to be on Abel's mixtapes, plus there's collabs and so on. But whatever you'll end up doing, I'll appreciate it a lot.

anttiantti

Do “If you’re reading this it’s too late” by Drake, I feel like you’re not the biggest Drake fan because you haven’t heard some of his most fire shit. Please do this one, lot of bangers on this one

Yaseen Mahida

TRAPSOUL by Bryson tiller , it’s another type of R&B

Would absolutely love to see some more mac miller, I think his shit lines up with your tastes perfectly. Swimming would be the dream but good:AM is amazing as well
