Rude Awakening

"How did I not realize what was happening until now...

I mean... I have always been a heavy sleeper but has it been this bad? Every morning I'd wake up to the two of them passed out. They were never in the same position, sometimes they weren't even asleep side by side. Often I'd even think they didn't like each other, specially up until recently.

Some nights they would sleep comfortably side by side, other nights they would fight about who got to sleep up close to me. More often than not though I would always end up in the losing side.

Now that I think about it, recently in the last several weeks, there's always been this odd smell in the mornings. I guess it wasn't my deodorant nor is there a problem with my fridge... it was these two all along!

So if this has been going on for this long... why now? Why risk it? Did they really think I wouldn't wake up? Was the bed rocking back and forth not enough of a hint? Or the loud moaning? Or was this... intentional?"
