Succubus Scene Voice ‘Acting’
Turns out this cold war of AI feature fighting has finally resulted in some decent TTS models. I was honestly shocked by what Google released- and how well it could do different (horny) emotions
I encourage you to go play with it, it's really something else
If only I had a scene laying around with a bunch of voice lines already written waiting to be voiced… oh wait! I nearly pulled my teeth out in frustration writing and rewriting all those lines in Succubus, let’s bring that to life with some voice magic!
The only hiccup is VaM’s lip syncing features are severely lacking.
I’m going to take a crack at making that work (Another VaM user has already made a plugin for it, I’ll be either modifying that, or writing something myself)
So, we’ll see how that goes. Worst case scenario is we have to put up with VaM’s sub-par lip syncing, but after playing with it further, if you tweak the settings just right, it can be pretty passable.
Release a Game
I like the idea of making expansion, growth, and shrinking themed games. I have many, many ideas for games that would be awesome. But, before even considering any of the other ideas I have - it’d be best to start making something small.. to at least prove I can do that much. If I can’t bring a game that was designed to be small scope and easy to life, something larger and complex is totally off the table.
In February, with some help from other Discord users, we came up with a good- reasonably scoped design, and I’ve been working on it since. It’s a simple ‘Launcher’ game, like those classic flash games of yore (Primary inspiration being Burrito Bison) - but of a slime based alien bouncing on their tiddies, which absorb the people, cars, and buildings they land on, wreaking havoc on some city.
I really wanted to make some videos to show off where it's at now.. even as rough as it is, but the Atlyss update took a bit longer than expected (see aforementioned surprise update from Kissoff) - but if you want to keep track of progress, I'll be posting vids/gifs and having discussion over on Discord, instead of cluttering up the Patreon page- next you'll hear about it here will be with a download link!
I’ll be working on this simultaneously with the Succubus voice line stuff, and then focusing on it entirely after. Wishful thinking is that I can wring it out by Thanksgiving, but practically, we’re probably looking at something between that and Christmas.
Then, (barring a surprise VaM2 release) we’ll be back to regularly scheduled VaM programing, probably with an update to the Streamer Sim, which is still, sadly, very far from where I want to take it.
