Nobody told Stephany about the aerosolized growth hormones they spray the horses with, it wasn't illegal or anything, and as long as you didn't touch the horses: there was no chance of exposure. Stephany loved horses, though- that was the whole point of her internship at the ranch. She was technically a receptionist, but every break she would run out back and brush the horses down, which both she and the horses obviously enjoyed- so none of the farmhands intervened, they barely noticed amidst their own burdens anyways.
Soon enough, she noticed a startling change in her weight. Surely it's just part of growing up, she was told her metabolism would change, and she did just cut volleyball in favor of this resume-building opportunity, her body just needed to adjust to her new clerical lifestyle. She decided to start packing vegetables for lunch, and like any obsessed animal lover, saw nothing wrong with sharing the same carrot with her four-legged friends.
Interesting enough, she started to gain more weight despite her diet. Even more peculiar, was that all of the mass seemed to accumulate on her lower half, in fattening cords of muscle, instead of the fat she initially suspected the scale's numbers represented. She was developing quite an eye-catching figure, which would have raised suspicions if it wasn't obscured most of the time from behind her desk, or unseen by the tired farmhands too busy to give notice to this months intern. At most, some of the regulars thought it was weird how she seemed to sit higher in her desk every week.
None the wiser, Stephany kept her routine up. Sure she had to rebuy the lower half of her wardrobe - but that was no cause for concern, just part of growing up..
