Thanks everyone for sharing your opinions. Honestly I was worried that there was too much of a gap between transformations, but I really think the story is important. I don't want to sacrifice this aspect of my comics, so from now on if there needs to be a long chunk of story between transformations I will try squeeze it into fewer pages. I'll also do my best to upload more pages at a time on those weeks where I can't help it and there is only story. I do have some ideas how I can make those parts more exciting from now on, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they turn out. Thanks for all the honest feedback. I hope I can make everyone happy with these changes!

I agree to. Also not trying to sabotage the final product. But there has been little transformation in the past 2 months for a patreon that makes transformation work. Not to sound rude. I understand the scripting process and artistic vision but at this point when new stuff is put out I try to estimate how many more weeks go by until the next actual transformation sequence that is being alluded to that week. I think 3 panels of a decent amount of dialog with different scenery would be a good place, or 5 with several backgrounds repeating. Maybe there could be a poll to see what ppl want? Or maybe even sprinkle in a quick before/after line art sketch of established characters getting into different tf shenanigans. While the 3D project can be paced out more to the master vision. Again I dint want to sound rude. I do checked the released work almost as soon as it comes out in earnst. There is a lot of quality in your pieces. But it seems like the comics would be better off as being released in 50 page chapters or so for a few bucks with how they are paced.

I have to agree with the above , the last few weeks there have been a lot of panels that 3 panels could have been one panel of speech. It's a highlight of my week to check my patreon and see where this is going but not for "paperwork, library, let's see".

While I totally understand, and to some extent agree with what others have said here. I also don't really want you to change the way you plan out / pace the comics. I do think that, while it might be a little slow on a set-to-set pace, the full comic probably turns out better this way. It's just the times between sets that make it seem so drawn out. But that can't really be helped.

I also do not think the quality would drop that much if you would up the pacing a little bit. The personal life part is really nice and has a lot of potential. But i agree that it feels like 3 weeks of nothing exciting happening. Still i think i like the idea of getting more chapters a week more than faster pacing.

Ye obv I prefer quality over quantity, and I love these 2 comics, I was just saying that every week I’m excited to see new pages and 50% of the times I’m like “Yep, nothing happened”

I can understand that feeling as well, but at the same time I don't want to discourage too much over pacing, there are slower parts in Mirai as well but the overall experience is top notch so far. At the end of the day I'm sure for the most part we all appreciate the quality over the quickness anyway

I was about to say the same thing as Radass, in my opinion the last 3 pages are 1 page divided in 3 to get more pages😂 And that thing is happening like every 1/2 weeks where I read 5 pages that could be done like in 2 pages at best. Idk, hope to see a little faster pacing. Btw keep up the good work, Mirai is still one of my favorites expansion comic

yeah would be nice to up the pace a bit, like the last 3 frames of this could be one frame

I thought about this. The problem is that the changes only can happen in Penelope's Fairytale when they are reading the book, so that can only happen when they're at the cafe at the moment while Jenny is still hesitant to use the book. I wanted to look at how the changes affect Jenny's life as well, so needed a few pages of solid story and scene setting. But she's back at the cafe now, so things should get exciting in the next couple of posts.

I know it’s hard to keep up with 2 comics, but it’s like 2 months that there’s nothing happening in Penelope’s fairytale man. I hope that next week something will happen or the pacing will get better🧐
