Thoughts on Midjourney & should I get it?

I know that AI art is controversial, but as someone than cannot draw I really, really like being able to generate custom art. I know and do sympathize with artists and I agree that morally, AI art is wrong due to it being theft but...
Custom art is really great.
So now that we're turning a very slight profit here on Patreon, what are your thoughts on me signing up for a Midjourney subscription? I would use it for TG/TF captions, but I also would use it for my own personal science fiction and fantasy stuff that I do outside of TG/TF.
That being said, it costs money to use. The more you pay, the better the service. The version of Stable Diffusion for example, is free but the results can be a bit...mixed. it works, but just barely.
If I were to do this I would likely offer custom captions...but I'd likely put it behind the $5 or $10 tier just so I continue being able to afford supporting TheExtra (who generously puts GENIE'D! together for us all to enjoy) and the other artists that I have supported before I even started this.
So those are my thoughts, I'd like to do it and create higher quality custom content for you all, but I'd have to lock it behind the paywall to do it.
Should I get a Midjourney subscription for creating custom Patreon content AND personal use? Or should I stick to Stable Diffusion and just keep creating content like I have been for the past year and a half?
