"And so you see, the accident started here, when the chemical I was exposed to began changing my internal chemistry, starting with this band of proteins..." Tamara explained, holding up the small model and pointing to it in front of her class. She tried her best to keep her voice enthused and her movements lively, after all those meant that the students would do a better job of listening to her. And, much like any good teacher, she would use their misplaced attention as a teaching moment, even if she had to be the example.
But inwardly she was sighing with boredom. Another school year, another dull class full of Freshmen had started at Whitewood University, most of who had signed up for the class with the 'Nut-off Professor' simply to gawk at (and jerk off to) her. Most of them cared nothing about advanced chemistry, at least, not like she did. Even after her transformation, Tamara was addicted to figuring out it's secrets, partly because she wanted to change back, but also because she simply loved Chemistry!
It had been five years ago when everything had happened. The univeristy's lab had been bustling with activity, professors and promising students making headway into the field of chemistry...But the search for new had ended up causing a fire in the lab. It had gone out of control and while everyone else had made it out, Tamara's old body had simply collapsed under it's own weight and the exertion, leaving HIM in a pool of slowly mixing chemicals, gasping in the strange fumes that permeated the lab. The last thing that TOM had felt was intense, rippling pain orignating in his groin before he lost consciousness, expecting to never wake up. But SHE had. The accident had been one in a trillion, the perfect combination of chemicals that had caused Tom's body to react on a cellular level. He'd shrunk without compression. His body mass had resdistributed without internal injury, and his skin had changed pigmentation without smearing or scarring. Even his bones had restructured without piercing his organs! It was all due to the super-charging of vestigial female hormones left within the body that had purged the testosterone entirely and even activated dormant genetics leading back hundreds of thousands of years (hence the change in ethnicity)! But Tom had become a African-American woman, and after a rough start had truly leaned into the change while getting used to being a test subject for other scientists (and herself). It had been surprisingly nice, once she adapted. She was sexy now as opposed to fat, her body was physically younger and lacking health problems...Being Tamara was GREAT aside from the rather intense menstrual cycles...And the highly charged libido. But she loved it. At this point the research to change back was more for the sake of discovery than an actual need. And maybe to tweak some things.
But she still had to teach. And that meant enduring another year as the 'Nut-off Professor'. Oh well, so long as it kept her in the field, using herself as a teachable example of the power of chemistry was a great way to pay the bills!.
