Floofvali (FREE VRChat avatar)

Meet the most modular avali avatar ever made.

The floofvali has a lot of history, being my first ever avatar base. However, it has been updated to fit in with the current standards of today! The avatar base is now free to use, and features many new things, such as vrcfury prefabs, new painting files, and a modular feather system!

This avatar base was made in collaboration with eldritchelias!

Eldritchelias is an excellent 3D and texture artist, and they helped bring the normal feather textures to life for this model! The normal maps are included in these free files for everyone to enjoy! If you are interested in their work, feel free to hit them up on discord

Features:

• Modular drag and drop feather system! All (and I mean all) of the feathers are now applied using VRCfury armature linking components. This means you can have hundreds of combos with different feather types. You want an avali without wings? don't like the chestfluff? want to choose from a variety of hairstyles? The floofvali will let you without ever needing to touch 3D software.
• Choose between full weight, or half weighted wings! Full weighted wings allow you to have more control over the wings as they will follow your arm all the way down to your hand. If you choose half weighted wings, your hands will not move the position of the feathers.
• Fallback compatible! The onemesh versions of the floofvali provide a more optimised final upload, whilst sacrificing a little bit of the feather modularity. Unchanged onemesh avatars will fall into the good performance rank!
• Optional double sided wings! Standalone players no longer have to worry about invisible feathers! Use the double sided wings to avoid backface culling issues!
• Wide variety of shapekeys! You can change the gender, body type, breast size, and even hide things like the beans and claws.
• Pre set up shaders! This avatar has already had poiyomi shaders fine tuned, to make your floofvali stands out!
• Jiggle physics! The fluff, ears, tail, tongue, breasts and butt already have phys bones pre set up, and ready to work with toggles!
• Easy to use retexture files! You can create your own textures using the included substance files, or PSD files (for the few 2D painters out there)
• Expressive emotions! Due to its large eyes, adorable little face, the floofvali has a wide range of emotions! It also has fun heart eyes, and blush effects!

(These statistics were taken from the default onemesh floofvali, and a modular floofvali with identical feather attachments. The polycount and performance can vary depending on how many feathers you choose to add.

Requirements:

• A basic understanding of how to use VRChat SDK, and VRCfury
• VRCfury
• Poiyomi shaders (any version equal to, or above 7.4.046)
• Gesture manager (recommended, but not essential)
• The ability to join a discord server (Required for free users, highly recommended for paid users)
