JANUARY WALLPAPERS πŸ§¨πŸ’‹πŸ’ƒ think it. want it. get it.

And just like that, we're entering yet another *new year.* Another fresh, blank page.

Though many of us feel a bit betrayed by this year, and the year before that, we must do as we always try to do -- open yet another new door with optimism.

It's similar to apartment hunting. We browse website listings and schedule showings, but truly you just don't know what a space REALLY looks like until you step inside and visualize your life there. Will the couch fit? Does it look like the photos? (Here in NYC at least, it's a total crapshoot sometimes with Listing Vs. Reality haha).

The point I'm trying to make here is -- we just don't know what the new year will look like. But we step inside, through the front door, anyways. We take all of our past years in stride, no matter how crappy or how wonderful they were.

It takes a lot of courage to leap into something without knowing what's to come. I feel that many people gloss over that part, think it's totally normal to just flip the calendar and see a fresh year emblazoning the top of the page, and don't stop to think about how brave they are for doing so. How much courage it takes to move on with optimism!

I want us to really believe in ourselves this year. And that is why for this new drop of wallpapers, I chose the phrase: Think it. Want it. Get it.

It's simple, sure, and there are a lot of bells and whistles involved between each of those periods, but half of the battle is imagining that you CAN accomplish something. Seeing it as something you can hold in your hands and actually achieve, and not waving it away as a hazy mirage or a fever dream. Those things that you think about constantly and want so badly ARE achievable. They are!!

I hope you all will enjoy January's wallpapers as much as I enjoyed making them for us. Cheers to the new year!

XOXO Katy

PS: Random pro-tip I've always forgotten to share lol. I find the wallpapers fit best if you select "stretch to fill screen." It doesn't really stretch them but it tends to look the best on most displays.
