New Shading Style
Added 2024-03-21 10:39:47 +0000 UTCHey guys, wanted to get your opinion on this new shading style I'm trying. It's hard work, but I think it pays off. All of the shadows have to be painted in manually.

I do like that the lighting is stronger with the new style, but I'd be curious to see how it looks on faces, since there is a bit of smoothing of skin textures.

That's why I'm only now getting to the new colors. 😐 I think the right image looks a bit “greyish” due to the shading... 🤔 In the left image the exposure looks better and more natural. As if sunlight was coming through the window. This makes the colors (including skin tones) look much better. 🙂 However, I think the hair in the picture on the left is a bit too... color intensive.😅 On the right you can see the hair structure a little more clearly. The left side is a little too light. (I mean the green hair) All in all a very good Job. ❤️ I just hope that it won't be too much work for you if you write that you have to shade everything by hand... 🤔 I wish you a nice and successful new week. 👍🙂 (With Google translator) 🤭
