Question on what you prefer in an update

So I was talking to a supporter, and he mentioned he thinks I should space the updates apart a bit, he said I should do it once a week so I can do big drops all at once instead of the smaller every other day updates.
Originally I used to update every Saturday, and I decided to make a point to do an update every two days or so since that seemed too infrequent, obviously the size of an update shrank as a result of that.
So I'd like to know, would you prefer I keep doing it as is, or should I try doing the big update every Saturday, and in the week between just show a look at one or two of the things I'm working on that week with the big meaty one coming Saturday?
I would obviously still pop in to the chat regularly across the week like I usually do and just drop blog posts and sneak peaks at what I'm working on in the meantime, I wouldn't actually be less active, just offering myself more time to make bigger updates.
