Well, it's finally here! 😊
- Save any sprite directly in the milk file!
- Click and hold the right mouse button to move the sprite around the screen to any position, and resize it using your mouse wheel.
- The sprite menu has been completely recoded. Choose from 5 sprite layers with the 'Layers' menu: you can fully merge your image in the preset!
- New sprite effects are available, and you can now cumulate them too!
- The folders 'sprites' and 'textures' are the same for MD3. You can put your images in either folder. When you save a preset with a sprite, MD3 will check if that image is present in 'textures' then 'sprites' folders and automatically link it to the preset. If an image with the same filename as the one you've loaded in MD3 is not found, it will be automatically copied from where you loaded it to the 'sprites' folder! Make sure your image is NOT too big; I recommend a maximum of 0.5 MB, as sprites are really slow to load.
- Read the sprites.ini file for more information.
- Compatible with 96Hz audio.
- You can choose a startup preset in the MilkDropPanel > Presets (default is MilkDrop2077 - Mandala.milk2).
- Press 'ESC' to exit full-screen (this can be disabled).
- Press the key ':' to change the pattern ('p') order (increment/decrement).
- New file names: milk3.ini > settings.ini; milk3_img.ini > sprites.ini; milk3_msg.ini > messages.ini.
- Multiple bugs fixed: multiple 'Name=' bug in the milk2 file is fixed, empty lines after adding effects in the comp shader are fixed, sprites randomly disappearing, etc.
- Stability should be better than ever. I've cleaned up a LOT of code and updated the project from VS Studio 2019 to 2022.
