Some Changes Coming Soon.

Hey gang, the end of the month is drawing near and I thought it would be a good time to post a bit of a heads up. Next month I'm planning on giving my Patreon page a bit of a rework in terms of rewards and how it is generally set up, hopefully have some new graphics for tiers and a new banner and icon. 

I'm doing this for a few reasons: 

1. I feel as though this page is a little stale. While I post regularly (I think) it just feels like it's the same thing in and out. Consistency is good but I've plateaued a bit with incoming patrons and if I plan to get more, you gotta experiment a little to see what works. 

2. I'm changing my prices on commissions. Right now, it's not sustainable for me or my household to work 2-3 days on pieces and make around 10-20 dollars a day for an average of 12 hrs of drawing a day, almost everyday at that. To match that, I'll be changing some of the rewards. If I'm not going to work for 35-50 a commission, I shouldn't be doing the same with reward sketches. You'll still receive sketches mind you but I'll be changing around which tier gets a half-body or full body and introducing a bust sketch for 4-5 dollar tiers. These won't be colored but rough likely red lined sketches - I really have to work hard to not do this because I want to please everyone that asks for something but I need to maintain a healthy workload for myself. These are suppose to be quick sketches, no more than an hour or two tops and I'm spending more than that on each one. I won't let these rewards stack for better sketches, sorry but that puts a lot of pressure on me as an artist. I'm going to try to apply this to kofi sketches as well but keep in mind there are people that donate quite a bit and I want that reflected in the work I do. 

3. I'm overworked - I keep taking on quite a bit and I have to do better as my own advocate. I've been combing through my projects, seeing which are feasible and which should fall to the wayside or offer them to artists that are interested? There have been quite a few events and zines I've let slip by because oh boy was last winter rough. 

Keep in mind, I'm not getting rid of the sketches but they are getting changed. I know there will be people coming to my inbox or dms about this. July will run as they currently have been but August is when the new changes will go live. Everything here is intended to make this page successful and make time work for me so I can stop undervaluing myself as an artist.
